Chapter 4👻 The Chills

The sound of a phone vibrating could be heard in the quiet room. Shouto shifts left and right to find a comfortable sleeping position. Yet the phone's nonstop vibration was getting on his nerves. He sits up quickly and grabs the device, sliding the button over to answer the call. "Hello", Shouto asks groggily, he winces at the motion of his spinning head from raising up too fast.

    "Morning Todo~. You ready to head for the mall?"

    Shouto sighs, it was one of his best friends Ochako. How can she sound so damn energetic in the morning, he asks himself. "Uraraka. Stores don't open until twelve." He could hear the girl on the other end laugh.

    "We can just kill time at your place!"

    "Right right. My idiot brother is still here though, are you sure you guys wanna hear his big mouth?"

     "Ugh! It'll be fine! We'll just ignore him."

    "Your choice, not mine. See you guys in a bit."

    "Byyyeee~!"

     Shouto presses the red button to end the call and sets his phone back on the nightstand. He rubs his eyes to get the remaining sleep out and lolls his head side to side to pop his neck and shoulders. He stands up and grabs his toothbrush and towel to start his morning routine. As Shouto makes his way down the hall, he spots a woman with blonde wavy hair and magenta colored eyes. She looks over at him and smiles, elated as usual. "Good morning Todoroki!"

   Too sweet, it was sickening to the boy but he played it off by replying. "Good morning Takeyama. I'm surprised you're still here."

    Yuu giggles, "I decided to stay here until Natsuo leaves. I'd get really lonely back at the dorms."

    Shouto waves her off, immediately disgusted by her clingy nature. "Okay, whatever I guess. Just don't bother me today."

     "No need to be so rude early in the morning!"

     "You're "nice" attitude is rude. We all know you're a rude snob."

     Around eleven was when his friends arrived. He was shocked to see Katsuki there, who usually liked to enjoy his Sundays sleeping in to get the tiredness of Saturday off his back. "I'm shocked to see you Bakugou", Shouto admits. The blonde scoffs, "Round Face dragged me out, saying y'all were going to the mall or some shit." Ochako huffs and places her hands on her hips, "it was either you lie around your house and do nothing but exercise, eat, sleep, and repeat or come enjoy the fresh Sunday breeze!"

     "I was already out, may I remind you, ALL NIGHT with Shitty Hair and Dunce Face doing nothing but stupid shit and almost getting arrested by the cops."

    Momo snorts, "you almost went to jail? That sounds hilarious!"

    Shouto shakes his head as Katsuki growls at the tall female, "it's almost twelve, do you guys wanna head out now?"

    Ochako cocks her head to the side. "I thought we were gonna stay here for a minute?"

     Shouto shakes his head and before he could answer her question, Natsuo's voice could be heard upstairs along with his girlfriend's. "Do you honestly want to stay with all of that racket here?" The red and white haired boy turns to his older sister who was walking towards them. She was wiping her glasses off with her shirt and held them up to the light to see if any smudges remained. Fuyumi then puts them back on her face and grins genuinely. "By the time you all get to the mall the shops should start opening. It's best to go now."
