You were one of the quiet kids in 1A, you didn't really like to talk to most people and kept to yourself most of the time. Yes you did work well with everyone and you did get invited out which you did go. You just liked to keep your thoughts to yourself, it was the best way that's what you always thought. You have always been that way since you were little, you were even surprised you made friends at U.A or even made it there to begin with. You wouldn't say your quirk was amazing nor useless you just never understood why you?
You walked down stairs with your big oversize hoodie on, you had just finished your can of soda and wanted another drink since your mini fridge was broken. Specifically by Mina since she got to carried away with it the other day. You hummed a small tune as you heard a few of the gang carrying on in the front room. All you could do was smile as you heard their laughter and loud voices. But as you turned your attention outside you could see the familiar darkness wielder known as one of your best friends. The rain poured and little droplets fell from the roof outside that covered the front porch. What was he doing out there in the cold like this. You never knew about him, he was just different. Different in a way that caught your eye for him so many times you couldn't even count any more to be honest with yourself.
Your footsteps were barely heard as you walked over to the front door, glancing down at your hand that was barely visible from the fabric. You let out a small sigh and opened up the front door, heading outside to the figure that confused you greatly. He sat there, Dark shadow resting like a cat beside him. He had a baggy T shirt on with a long sleeve underneath and some sweat pants. Book in between his fingers as he sat by the edge of the porch almost where the steps started to lead down.
He didn't take his eyes off of your book as you walked over to him, he seemed to only focus more from your prescience. You stopped some what right in front of him and balanced back on your heels as you tried to read the cover of his book with out bothering him. That was that last thing you wanted to do because then you would really feel bad.
"yes?" He asked, not looking up from the page he was on. Your face flushed red in embarrassment for interrupting his reading.
"s-sorry I was just trying to read the cover" You said softly, watching his gaze slightly soften to your voice. He bent the corner of the page he was on and shut the book enough for you to see. Dark novel, you weren't surprised by his genre choice. You smiled at him as you sat down behind him and watched the rain fall.
"Is it a good book" You asked as you stuck your hand out to touch the cold droplets fall from the roofing. He nodded his head slightly as you back shivered from the sudden cold of the wind. It was nice and peaceful but also really cold outside where you were. You didn't know how he could really stand it out here. You still played with the rain though and didn't take your hands away even though you were shivering. A sly smile spread across your face as you stood up and was about ready to run out in to a puddle that you had seen. For being quiet you did have your moments of complete energy and stupidness that was for sure.
But as soon as your foot stretched out to go and run your body was grabbed by the beings quirk. Dark Shadow held you in his grasp and brought you over to Tokoyami. He rested you in between his legs and let him lift his book up before he set you down. Your face was beat red as Dark Shadow let go of you. You rested yourself on his chest as you sat there and he just didn't seem to mind at all. He just placed his arms back down and continued to read where he had left off. His warm was radiating on to you, warming you up from the cold atmosphere surprisingly. You weren't sure how he kept warm in this weather but you wouldn't question it.
"I'm not having you go out in to the rain and seven in the afternoon, you could catch a cold out there with ease" he said as he turned the page. Resting his head on top of yours with a soft sigh. Your heart beat was getting faster as the minutes went by. Your shivering was soon fading from his warmth. Not to mention Dark Shadow now sitting on top of your lap calmly. You smiled slightly as you placed a piece of your hair behind your ear nervously.
You could fall asleep at this rate from how comfortable laying on him was, but as you rested your eyes you sneezed slightly. Jolting up from your spot in surprise. You heard him chuckle slightly behind you from your reaction. His hand went through your hair slightly as you sat up, wiping you nose only to sneeze yet again.
"Come on then, you're already getting sick out here. We can go make some tea to warm you up....and continue this inside if you please" Tokoyami's face was red as he finished his sentence. A small smile formed on your face as you took his hand to help you up.
"I would like that Toko, very much actually" You replied as he took you inside and away from the cold. You weren't sure if what had happened was Dark Shadow's doing or his but either way you couldn't have been happier. Your mind spread to several outcomes which was a regular thing, Tokoyami just made you think differently in an amazing way. You have always just felt that way around him and about him. And this was just an opportunity to learn more about your mysterious friend you have always had a love interest to.
