Anytime you and Kirishima hung out you have always told him you make my day ten times better. Ever since you have met him it's been true, he made your day so much better then how it would be if you didn't get excepted in to U.A. Every time you told him that he would ask why with a grin, but you would never answer him with the truth. You felt as if it would be bad timing, you wanted to trust him more. But it was hard keeping a big secret from him. All of the pictures you had kept on your phone were mostly funny ones of you two, there was never anything to serious. That was mostly on his, you felt as if it would help when you looked through your phone late at night to see them...to know you have some one there for you.
Just the little things he does makes you happy, working out with you, staying up late in your room, going out to get food. Any thing just made your day the greatest with him. You felt as if he was spoiling you with his kindness because it is something you have never had in your life.
"Y/n....come on....you told me you would stay awake for the ending...I knew you would fall asleep" Kirishima whined as he flung his arms up in the air. Laying on your bed in a comfy position right next to you as you shut your eyes. Small snores escaped from you, he slowly reached over and touched your nose, breaking you from your sleep. You groaned and scrunched your nose, lazily opening your eyes to find him staring at you with a playful glare. He leaned over you and started to tickle your stomach to wake you up. You let out screams and laughs as he continued to tickle you, hearing the movie credits play in the back ground.
"Stop it stop please Kiri, I didn't mean to honestly I promise" you laughed out and stared in to his ruby orbs as he smiled widely at you. He squinted his eyes at you and shrugged as he fell on top of your stomach and laid there. You couldn't help but laugh as you ran your hand through his hair, you loved it when he left it down. He was just so cute.
"You made my day ten times better already and it's only what twenty minutes past midnight?" you asked as you tried to lean over and grab your phone from my night stand. Only to fail from his weight being on you. He let out a small chuckle as he kicked his feet that hung off the side of the bed since he was basically to big for it. It seemed like something was on his mind though, something that made him quiet.
"Y/n...can you tell me why you always say 'you make my day 10 times better' " Kirishima asked as he looked over his shoulder in to your E/c orbs. You let out a sigh, he really wanted to know didn't he. You couldn't hid this lie from your best friend any longer could you now. Nor did you want to for that matter, it hurt you to see him like that and not know why you say those exact words. You glanced away and bit your bottom lip, trying to decide if you should tell him or not.
"You want to know the reason huh...I hate keeping secrets from you and you know that....If I tell you you tell no one okay...promise" You held your pinky out to him, his chuckled and linked our pinky's together to make he deal like you always do.
"I swear Y/n" He replied as he sat up from you to treat what you're about ready to tell him with importance. You bit your bottom lip and stared down at your sock covered feet. It was time that he should know and you were terrified to tell him.
"Back when I was little Kiri, my dad wasn't the best to us you see. Drunk or not he hated us, the beer just made it worse as time went on. I am the oldest out of my siblings and had to protect them at all costs....when we were little and he went out for beer we tried to gather as much things as we could in a bag so we could leave...But as soon as we heard the car pull in it gave us ten seconds for me to hide them from him....he never found them but he always went for me instead." He looked over at you with pure concern, he leaned back over and held your hand softly and rubbed the top of your hand.
"It started when I was around 4 and ended when I left a few months back....when I tell you you make me day ten times better it just makes up for those ten seconds to me that I had to rush....I didn't want any one to know about it for the longest time...my siblings went to go live with my grandparents in the US so before UA came it was just me and my dad... I said UA was my only shot or else I would move with them across the country...As soon I got accepted and the dorms were made I made it out of there as fast as I could" You felt tears slip down your cheeks, you quickly wiped them away before you could make a big deal out of them.
"So before the dorms were created he still hit you then....when you came over to my mom's he beat you then" Kirishima's grip on your hand tightened. You nodded your head slowly and smiled as best as you could, you have kept a fake smile before to make sure no one would worry. He pulled your body in to him and hugged you tightly with no intention of letting go.
"I had no clue Y/n I'm so sorry about that...if only you could have told me...even if it was for a few days I'm sure my mom wouldn't have minded it" You sighed and frowned as he held you, you never wanted to let go from him. He was like a life line for you, the only reason to live was him and you never wanted him to leave.
"I-it's fine Kirishima...I made it any way so every thing is fine. I haven't seen him since I moved in here so I think he is gone for good for me anyway...." You said as he pulled back and looked in to your eyes..he leaned in and pecked your forehead before engulfing you back in to the hug.
"I wish I could have helped you out...you make my days better too trust me. I was in a bad time in my life before U.A It was almost like a new chance at something...when I met you you changed my life so much and I owe you so much"
"I think we both think we owe each other something....we did each other a favor with out even knowing about it" you chuckled as you watched him lean back and grab the remote to the side of the bed where it laid. Changing the T.V screen to just a random show that played.
"Let's just focus on our new lives here okay...let's not worry about the past and stick to the present...I do not wish to think about him any more anyway" you muttered as he set the remote down beside him. He nodded his head and a smile and held your hands in his grasp. He nodded his head as he laid it on top of yours with a sigh...turns out you guys were more alike then you thought you two were. You felt as if this did bring you closer in a way, better with trusting one another that was for sure...You felt as if you could officially tell him everything and anything thing just by getting the one thing off your chest...like you said it's a new beginning don't worry about the past. You have your best friend right here with you along the way. You felt as if nothing could stop you two now, nothing.
