I pulled up to my driveway and parked the car, turning off the lights. I sat there with my eyes close as so many thoughts raced through my mind.
Usually, I be so anxious to see my bed but tonight was a different story. I dealt with family drama for years so today was no different.
However, the fact that all of them were against me running this firm left a bad taste in my mouth. I spent my entire life molding the firm only for my brother to take all the credit.
Per usual.
Joe was the icing on the cake to how rough this night had been for me. I told him numerous times that it was time for us to move on, go our separate ways, which he simply ignored.
We weren't compatible and it took me nearly a decade come to that conclusion. The love we once shared no longer held value to my heart.
"What a day .." I sighed.
I gathered my things and headed towards my house. To my surprise, Maria, one of the few maids, was still here.
and Erica.
"Hey?" I closed the door behind me, watching them interact with one another.

Erica was stationed on-top of the kitchen counter with Maria close by her. They had seem to be a deep conversation, didn't even bother to look my way.

"Ms. Santana?" She startled at the sound of my voice and quickly moved away from Erica. "I though you we-

"Y-Yes." Maria rushed over and took the small luggage away from me. "Anything else you wou-
"Bedroom." I ordered, trying my best to control my anger. "and please make sure all bathrooms are clean."
"Yes ma'am! will y-
"I would like for my pink dressing gown to be laid out along with my versace bathrobe to match."
"Okay." She heavily sighed. "Anything else you would like madame?"
"No. That'll be all darling."
I gave a fake smile, patting her shoulder and continue my walk to the kitchen. Erica barely paid me any mind, too busy glued to her phone or at least that what it had seem.
