Levi's POV
I took my newly wedded wife to the dance floor, smiling gently to her. She recovered from her wounds, thankfully, and she smiled brightly. She missed having the babies right with her, and wished she had a proper birth with the twins. Honestly... I'm glad she didn't have to go through the pain of birthing the twins. Jay and Raven...
Jay and Raven were little troublemakers, but were angels. When one would cry, the other would. They always had each other's back. Even if they fought over who got to have breakfast first. For now, we kept them in one nursery to make it easier for us to get to the twins. When they would get older, they would get separate rooms. But jeez... I remember how every morning was... it was a race between the twins to see who would summon their mother first.
A little past 6 am, either Raven or Jay would cry for their mother. When I would get up and see them... I would go to the crying child first and try to soothe them before Hanji gets here. But when I try to do that, the other twin would cry at the top of their lungs. It was completely stressful, but it was worth it. Now Hanji and I wouldn't have to fight each other for who would have more time with the babies.
We each favored a twin, and we hoped that it wouldn't be like that. So whenever we felt that we took too much time with our favored twin, we swapped. Boy... that wasn't fun at all. I loved Raven and Jay... but Raven looking like my mother more and more. Her raven-like hair and her gray eyes... Hanji often teases how our favored twin seemed to resemble like us. Raven had my features as Jay had Hanji's features.
My head snapped a bit as I saw the twins in their cradles- looking out towards us. Only 4 months had passed by, and I finally married my love. I looked up into her caramel-like eyes, how sweet they were. She looked so damn beautiful in that white wedding dress. White pearls lined the edges and made a little necklace on her chest. She wore white gloves with sparkles at the edge of it. A silver necklace with a real diamond tear was wrapped around her neck. White pearls dangled under her ears, and to finish it off... her veil. On her head was this tiara of hers- silver colored. A white veil was attached to it, and it was flung behind her. Her hair was curled and down, decorated with white ribbons and pearls.
What was I?
The normal-wear that I usually wear for every special occasion. A black suit with a white cravat. In my chest-pocket, there was this white rose. My hands were covered with white gloves. Over our gloves, we wore our wedding rings.
The music began to play gently- a soft waltz. We took each other's hands and started the first dance of the evening. Our movements were fluid, and everything around us seemed to disappear. The music continued to play, but it was our lifeline. Not once, we didn't mess up. The moon blessed us its moonlight, so we danced under there.
The first time I've ever seen her... the first time I've ever danced with her... this evening was meant to represent it. An affair was born at that time... a passionate love was created. My twins were on its way when we loved each other. If I had a chance to cheat on Hanji, I would never take it. My love belongs to her. She stole my heart. My life was hers. We needed each other.
"So glad to have you as my first dance..." She says gently, leaning down to kiss my lips.
I returned that kiss with a grin. "And we shall dance until it will become our final dance..."
