The Finale: Part Two

'So I'm doing it. Why? Well honestly, I have no choice. I wish I could have listened better to what Mono said. I should have at least tried to play her. Beat her at her own game. But I'm not the person I was years ago. I'm broken. Worried for the safety of an old friend. So I have no choice but to give up the one thing I held closest. As much as I didn't want to, it was my only option.'
"Thank you Takagi. And I will tell you what I can tell you." 'Huh! What does she mean by "what I can tell you". She's playing with me, she has to be.' "Hang on, I said I would give you Chi if you told me everything. I cannot go through the deal if it is only what you can tell me." "Well I'm sorry Takagi but if I was to tell you everything I knew we would both be dead!" 'I shook. W-what does she mean we would both die? This may be bigger than I thought.' "So...is it a deal, or not, because I will still get her, even if you don't accept my deal." 'Once again I felt trapped. Locked in a game I cannot beat. So what do I do now?'
'I responded with a shake in my voice.' "I-I-I accept..." 'I then thought about what I have done. Now what? I hope the answer doesn't destroy me any more than losing Chi will.'
"Well, I guess I shake begin..." 'I waited, waited to hear the words. The words I wanted to hear for so many years!'
"Nishikata was send for a purpose. A purpose I and many other had to share. A promise to those who could not fight for themselves. He did what had to be done. And we promised not to speak of it, until the time is right."
'That was it! That still didn't answer my question! The question I wanted answered for so long was just a mumble of words used to tease me.'
"Thats it. That's all you can tell me!" 'She shook her head.' "Well then, I cannot accept your deal, that is not the information I needed." 'I was very upset now.' "Well then I cannot accept that response. Come with me!" 'I was confused. What was she talking about?' "What are you talking about? Where are we going?" 'She grinned.' "You'll see..."
