Chapter 5: Jennie Kim

The next morning...

I woke up the next morning with a happy thought.

'I can't wait to see Soo Jung today.' I thought.

I don't know why but I'm so happy to actually have a friend for once. Probably cause I haven't been close to anyone in a long time. It feels good to finally have a friend.

Anyway I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. When I was done, I decided to wear this for today.

I then went downstairs to found Luna at her food bowl like usual. I went to the cabinet and filled her food bowl.

"Can't talk much today, Luna. But how about we go to the park when I get home from school?" I said.

Luna barked and wagged her tail.

"I'll take that as a yes." I said.

I scratched her head before putting her food back in the cabinet.

"Well I have to go now. See you later, Luna." I said.

Luna barked in response and I left the house. Before I could put my earbuds in, I heard someone call my name.

"(Y/N)"

I turned around to see Soo Jung coming out of the house next door. She then came over to me.

"Soo Jung? I didn't know you're my neighbor." I said with a small smile.

"Neither did I until I saw you just now." Soo Jung said.

"Well, want to walk to school together?" I asked.

"Sure. Let's go." Soo Jung said.

The two of us then walked to school together.

At school...

Me and Soo Jung just got to school. As soon as we got to the school, everyone's eyes were on us.

Why is the new girl walking with the weird girl?

I should be the one walking with Krystal.

Is Krystal really friends with her?

Is Krystal not affected by the weird girl's eyes?

Krystal is an ice spirit so I guess not.

I let out a low chuckle and looked at Soo Jung.

"You just got here yesterday and you're already this popular." I said.

"I know right" Soo Jung said.

The two of us then went to our lockers before going to class.
