Chapter 16

Warning: kinda swearing

As Natalie's Mum walked into the room and sat down, my youngest sister came closer to me and rested her head on my shoulder, that wasn't unusual, we did that quite a lot, to be honest. I could also feel her tensing up, I wasn't quite sure why though.  

Natalie's POV

"Natalie, can I speak to you upstairs," 

"Sure Mum," I say with a fake smile and voice. I followed her up the stairs and into her bedroom and shut the door.

"Nat, please..."

"Don't call me Nat, you lost those rights when you gave away my sister "

"Natalie, please this is a stupid feud,"

"I would beg to differ,"

"People give up their children for adoption all the time,"

"Yeah, people who have a reason like they don't have enough money to care for a child, but you didn't have one did you? You knew how I felt about the whole situation, yet you asked Nathan and Nicole what they wanted but not me,"

"Natalie, you were only 11, you wouldn't have understood,"

"You knew how much I wanted to be an older sister, so you just didn't ask me because you knew I would tell you to keep her, and Nicole and Nathan weren't fussed about the whole thing, because Nathan was going off to Uni, and Nicole was a fifteen girl about to start her GCSEs. And you couldn't be bothered to raise another child."

"Natalie, that is..."

"You know what she said to me earlier, that she is more honest with me and trusts me than anyone else. So, imagine if I could have been there for her, her whole life when she had no-one, but oh wait my mother deprived her of that. I'm sorry but I can't bloody forgive you." 

There was a pause and within which, my phone went off. 

You okay Nat? I hear shouting. Xx ~  Naomi 

Then another:

I'm waiting at the bottom of the stairs for you Xx ~ Naomi

"Natalie, I'm so sorry" My mum sobbed. I walked out and slammed the door. I was then tackled into a hug by Naomi, who had obviously come up the stairs since the last text she sent.

"Nat, you're shaking what happened?"
