Chapter 27

"Aimie, are we busy tomorrow after school?!" I heard Nat shout from upstairs.

"Well I have a photo-shoot, so you said you'll pick your sister up. Maybe you could go out or something?" Mum shouted back. Seriously, do neither of them have the common sense to talk to each in the same room?

"Okay, can I take her to my brother's? Nicole's going to be there too,"

"You know I don't have a problem with you taking her out, just let me know first," Mum's shout was followed by footsteps down the stairs. 

"Your Mum said yes," Nat walked passed me and into the kitchen, presumably to get a drink.

"Oh I know," I continued to stare at the television. 

"How?" She walked back through the door with a glass of orange juice in one hand and her phone in the other. She shut the door with her foot and sat next to me.

"You were shouting at each other upstairs, It was hard not to hear,"

"Fair point" Nat put her glass down on the coffee table"Oh, if you put a few clothes in a bag, I'll bring them tomorrow and you can change at Nathan's"

"Good idea, are we having tea there?"

"Yeah, probably, or just we'll go out, all seven of us,"

"So, Me, you, Nicole, Nathan, Lori, Natalia and Nate?"

"Well, no-one else better be there, especially after the trick my mother pulled the other day, "

"For someone who was highly distraught yesterday, you seem to have recovered quite well -sure there's nothing you want to tell me?"I brought my knees up and put my feet on the sofa.

"I'm sure hun, you know I tell you everything,"

"I know, just checking." I paused and looked at the clock. "Do all our siblings get on so well?"

"I mean, we all get on quite well, for siblings but I'd definitely say we're the closest,"

 "I still have a lot to learn about you Paris',"

"Alright, Atkinson. You still inherited most of the family traits though, you lucky thing,"

"Oh really,"

"Yeah, you have,"
