I just wanna say that I am so sorry it took me this long to make this new chapter, I have no proper excuse and I apologize for being gone for over a month, thank you all so much for your patience.

Also, as I'm sure you're aware, this all has been edited and re-written, I've seen so many spelling errors, typos, grammatical errors, shitty wording, and just over all bad writing, so all that has been made a little better and I've changed some things here and there, so maybe go ahead and reread this
1. To refresh your memory on this story as I've been gone for over a month
2. To make sure you're aware of the current storyline.

Now imma just go ahead and plug my Discord once more cause that's where you get updates, spoilers/sneak peeks, and shit like that on this, you can find my Discord name and number in my profile description along with my insta if you want that for whatever reason.

Anyway, enough with this crap, enjoy the chapter, hopefully I end up making something acceptable.

-=The Diamond House=-
-=All Three Diamonds/Steven/Spinel=-

Steven and Spinel sat in the dining room, Blue happily chatting with the younger Diamond as Yellow sat in silence, eating her breakfast while White just watched with a calm smile, the largest Diamond happy that not only was her Star Shine back but she also didn't have to continue running things his way by herself, as doing so was fairly taxing on her admittedly fragile patience.

"So, whatever happened to those Gems I sent here? They weren't shattered or anything, right?" Steven questioned as he began collecting dishes, insisting that Blue let him do them.

"Oh yes, those Quartz soldiers you sent to your room in bubbles; they were all given a lengthy sentence but not shattered, no need to worry your little head, Star Shine." White spoke with a proud smile, knowing that having such restraint without him having to tell them otherwise was showing that she was just as good as her sisters when it came to changing.

"That's great, I'm happy to see you all adapting to the new system." Steven praised with a smile, drying off the dishes and putting them away, Spinel watching curiously.

"So that's what the blue stuff was for-" She spoke in her head at the realization, after just having watched him use the soap to clean the dishes.

"It's a struggle to do so, especially when it came to those rebels you sent to us- I practically had to hold Yellow and Blue back, a much harder task without being allowed to use my light to subdue them." White said, speaking that last part in a somewhat bitter tone.

"Well I'm happy that you found enough restraint to not only not use your power on them but also keep your cool; I'm happy to hear you're putting forth an effort now." The youngest Diamond acknowledged with a smile.

"Oh, and about that location you sent us: the building that you woke up in when your little plan failed? It was empty by the time we sent Gems over, but it was an abandoned building to begin with, it seemingly having been repurposed and built upon." Yellow informed him from her spot at the table.

"So I assume that means we have no leads on the rebels then." Steven said with a sigh, realizing what this meant. "Fine, I'm going to visit those Quartz soldiers today and if they won't give me anything, you have permission to...torture information out of them, just no shattering. I don't like it, but it's technically terrorism and we're running out of options, as they've put the safety of homeworld itself at risk."

"Ya know, we actually had one of their leaders not too long ago, but they broke her out during her transportation." The yellow monarch said, obviously annoyed be the fact that some rebels were able to do such things while on homeworld. "Since then, we have of course upgraded our protection in the prison and the security team that brings the Gems in, I just thought you'd like to be made aware of the fact that we at some point actually had their leader, though we didn't learn much."
