Prision Break

A group of five soldiers walked through the halls, coming across another set of prison cells. They split up and began releasing Gems, telling them to go wait in the warp room, up until shouting could be heard, the four of them realizing that one of their members was now missing, the door that she was last seen in front of now wide open without any light whatsoever.

They slowly made their way toward the eerie room, one of them calling out for the missing Quartz as they walked in, only to see a small framed, pink Gem sitting on the bench that was against the far wall, holding the gem of their missing member, seemingly inspecting it. "Drop the gem, now!" One of them shouted as they all summoned their weapons.

Next thing they knew, the new Pink Diamond himself came from the ceiling and started beating the shit out of them. He slammed his foot in the face of one of them before dropping down to the floor and summoning a spiked bubble around his hand, running up the wall and jumping up to put more force behind his next punch, proofing the already stunned Gem.

Once the other two came to their senses, he pulled out his shield to block a few attacks before kicking one of them in the back of their knee, sending them down so he could punch them directly in their face after throwing his shield right at the other, the force of his throw sending it right through her.

He was quick to bubble them all, getting a standing applause from his friend. "Wow, a full ten outta ten, good job there best friend!" She cheered him on.

"Hey, keep it down Spinel, we don't want everyone coming here and catching us at the same time." He spoke quietly as he sent them off, hoping that one of the Diamonds would come across them and alert the authorities that something was happening in the prison.

"Oh right, sorry." She said quietly, her smile still never faltering as they left the room, closing the door behind themselves. "So what's happening? I'm still really confused, I mean we were having fun and then out of nowhere there were alarms and scary Gems..."

It took Steven quite a bit of effort to calm her down and make sure she wasn't scared after they finally found a place to hide, but thankfully he convinced her that there was nothing to worry about and that he would handle it and keep her safe, "Well, these Gems are mad at me, but right now, they're here to break their friends out, and seemingly recruit the couple thousand Gems that are in here as well, and it's my job to stop them."

"I dunno Steven...that sounds dangerous." She said, looking at the empty cells as they passed them by. "Why can't we just leave? Didn't that Gem say that the only way out of here was the warp pad? Can't we just stop it from being used anymore after we leave?"

"That's a good idea, but unfortunately for us, homeworld already thought of that, and seeing as they're taking their sweet time collecting Gems, I'm thinking that no one knows what's happening right now other than us." The teen informed her, ducking into a cell and pulling her in with him as a few Gems passed by, prompting the hybrid to sneak up behind them and attack, taking out all of them in a matter of seconds.

Spinel watched in awe at his fighting prowess, wishing she could help her friend out in one way or another. Steven collected their gems, bubbling them before sending them all off back to his room. "Wowie!" The smaller Gem said in a hushed shout. "Can you show me how to beat up bad guys like that?" She asked excitedly as they continued to walk.

"Heheh, believe it or not, but you were able to take out 'bad guys' left and right as if it were nothing to you back before you lost your memories." He said, trying not to show his saddened mood when he thought about his Spinel.

"Oh wow, I was a badass warrior too?" She questioned with a grin as she balled her fist up, thinking about what it'd be like to be able to fight like that.
