Ch. 2 ~Love is a Mystery~

Another day has passed. Mystery sat outside on the ground near the old, abandoned mansion. The skies were mixed with black and purple, but the moon still remained the same color as the one in the human world. The crescent moon glowed brightly. Mystery could turn her head a certain way so the moon looked like a wide smile, just how Sebastian used to.

Mystery’s thoughts were all over the place as she thought of both Ciel and Sebastian. Not to mention, herself also. She and Ciel still didn’t know what kind of demons they were like how Sebastian’s was a crow. Sebastian had told them that it would have to symbolize them and they would have to find a way to find it.

Mystery also wondered how Tanaka and the others were doing. It’s been only two weeks since she, Ciel, and Sebastian left them and the mansion. Now the mansion was no longer Mystery and Ciel’s home. It would only be some tour site where the noble family of the Phantomhives lived. But then again, it was Tanaka, Mey-Rin, Finny, and Bard’s home since they had nowhere else to go. How were they doing? Mystery wondered as she remembered the good and bad times at the mansion.

Then she thought of Alois… or rather Jim Macken and his brother Luka. She didn’t think she would ever see Jim again after the fire in the town. After his death and moving on, Mystery would at times look at the sky and listen to see if she could hear their voices. She missed them, but she knew they were safe and would never be hurt again.

Quite recently, Mystery started to feel funny. Whenever she thought of Sebastian, she felt warm and…excited for some reason. She did notice that Sebastian was acting a bit odd too. She didn’t know why…

Mystery stood up and walked back into the mansion. Once she closed the doors behind her, the whole place was quiet and dark as usual. As she walked on, she didn’t see Ciel or Sebastian anywhere. She decided to go to her room to rest since the day was over.

When she was near her door, Mystery could smell Sebastian’s scent coming from her bedroom. She turned the doorknob and opened the door to reveal Sebastian sitting on her bed. Mystery’s heart leaped up and pounded against her chest. “Sebastian?” Mystery said barely in a whisper. Sebastian heard her as he turned his head to her with a smile.

“What are you doing here? And have you seen Ciel by any chance?” she asked. “The young master went out. He’s still nearby the mansion, but I guess he wanted to be left alone to think.” Sebastian said. “As for me,” Mystery looked up curiously at him. “It’s about something far from different.” He said as he stood up.

“W-What do you mean?” Mystery asked. Sebastian walked toward her, but Mystery didn’t move as she wasn’t afraid of him in any way. “How long has it been? I can still remember that night I first saw you. That was when I knew you were the one. I watched you from the dark in the trees’ branches for a while. And then you arrived in London with me saving you from being attacked by Grell. You moved into the Phantomhive manor and became a maid. Your memory came back revealing you were my lord’s sister. And after fighting that damn angel that was after you, I made you into a demon…”

Sebastian stared down at her the whole time he spoke. Mystery stared at him also, wondering what he was implying. “Many beings were after you. Angels. Shinigamis. And demons…including myself. I risked my life to save you from that damn angel and that demon, Claude. All those interruptions kept us from spending with one another. And now that we’re in this demon paradise… We can finally continue being mates.”

Sebastian’s smile never faded. Mystery felt herself blush while her heart still beat faster. She looked down, embarrassed, to what she was about to ask. “Sebastian… I keep getting this warm, excited feeling in me. I’ve never felt this way before and it’s around you.” She said. It was quiet for a minute and Mystery felt more than embarrassed.

“You are ready, my love” Sebastian’s words rang in her ears. She looked up at him confused. “What…?” “Your mother and father had the same feeling. That’s how they created you and your brother.” Sebastian said making Mystery feel awkward. “You don’t understand do you?” Sebastian asked and Mystery shook her head.

Mystery had moved to sit on her bed in case her legs would give out. Sebastian now stood in front of her and placed a gloved hand on her cheek. “Still so innocent even if you are a demon,” Sebastian said affectionately. “It’s a way of expressing love in a further step. It’s also a way to make offspring.” Sebastian continued and now leaned toward her so his upper body hovered slightly over Mystery’s. He had both arms on the side of her to keep him balanced. He and Mystery stared through each other’s eyes.

“We are mates after all. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time…” Sebastian whispered over her lips. Mystery’s breathing was deep and quiet. She could see Sebastian’s eye glow as he kissed her. Mystery’s recent feelings sparked and then exploded with desire. Sebastian laid Mystery on the bed still giving her kisses on her mouth, cheek, and neck.

Seconds ticked into minutes when clothing was shred and thrown on the floor. Mystery’s dress and red cloak were scattered as Sebastian’s tail coat and other clothing were spread out and some hanging on the bed. Now both were bare and Sebastian traced his hands over Mystery’s skin. He caressed her as he smothered her with kisses, licks, and bites.

Sebastian then became one with her, breaking her barrier. Mystery let out a painful whimper making Sebastian comfort her by holding her in his arms and cooing sweet things in her ear. After wiping Mystery’s lose tears away, Sebastian continued to move. As they held together, Sebastian’s rhythm and speed increased. At times he would slow down just to tease her.

Mystery’s moans, whimpers, and small screams were like music to Sebastian’s ears. Mystery’s black nails dug into Sebastian’s back and left scratch marks. Sebastian bared his teeth with his fangs showing as he growled, grunted, and moaned. Both of the demons’ eyes glowed and the lust grew even stronger.

Sebastian’s black nails had somehow grew a bit and were digging deep into the sheets as he made rips in them. Sebastian wasn’t even getting tired, but Mystery was near her end. And even though the crescent moon glowed outside brightly, the room still remained dark, making Sebastian’s and Mystery’s silhouettes visible.

After what seemed like hours, Mystery relaxed against the silky bed sheets. Sebastian, however, kept moving. He waited for this opportunity for a long time and now finally accomplished it. Mystery watched through tired eyes as Sebastian was coming near the end. Mystery’s breathing slowed down. Sebastian pounded in and let out a last loud groan. After a few soft thrusts, Sebastian laid down next to Mystery, breathing heavily.

For the rest of the night, Mystery cuddled into Sebastian while he wrapped his arms around her with his head on top of hers. The feelings Mystery had were gone and released. She slowly closed her eyes and rested next to Sebastian. Sebastian petted Mystery’s head as he stayed awake for a bit longer.

After thinking of the previous events, Sebastian smirked and closed his eyes. He knew that he would be forever happily with Mystery, even though he was still trapped in the contract. But that didn’t seem to affect Sebastian now.
