Hi, I'm Kami Harper Curtis and I'm thirteen years old. I've got three brothers Darry who's twenty, Sodapop who's sixteen, and Ponyboy who's fourteen. My parents died in a car accident almost a year ago, and Darry has been looking after us since.
I've also got a lot of friends called Two-Bit, Dally, Steve, and Johnny. I think of them as four more brothers. We're called Greasers because we live on the poor Eastside of town. The Socs are the rich kids who live on the Westside. Docs like beating up on the Greasers. That's why my brothers don't like me walkin all by my lonesome.
