Chapter 5 going out, Knockout gets taken

Firefly was itching to get outside, Megatron had kept her inside for two weeks. Using the 'the autobots could show up any moment' line all the time. She understood his reason to keep her inside. But she needed to drive, like a seeker needed to fly.

Knockout was walking back to his room to check on his sister when he was called to the bridge. He sighed and turned around, going back the way he came.

Firefly frowned and sat up from her berth, she left the room and snuck to the bridge. She listened to Megatron give Knockout his orders to find a fossil Shockwave needed. Then Knockout vowed and turned to see Firefly standing there.

"Father?" She asked slowly walking up to him.

"Yes Firefly? What is it child?" Megatron looked at her.

"May I join my brother? Please" she asked with a sad look.

"Firefly you know how I feel about you going out there! What if the autobots show up and hurt you?, or take you away from me? Away from Knockout?" Megatron said with a frown.

"But father please! I need to get out, I need to drive" she tried again falling to her knees.

"Firefly" Knockout whispered.

".......it pains me to know you could be hurt or taken. But it pains me more to see you so upset, you may go, but if the autobots show up you are to return back here immediately" he said.

"Yes sir, thank you sir" the femme smiled standing and following her brother out the doors.

(Earth)

Knockout was ahead of Firefly, the two were silent. Just driving around trying to find the thing Shockwave needed. Firefly still didn't like him much, he creeped her out all the time.

The air suddenly felt different, it felt cool and yet heavy. The sky grew darker the clouds nearly black. The wind picked up greatly.

"Knockout!" Firefly called.

"A storm is rolling in, we better hurry and find some shelter" he instructed picking up speed.

Firefly grumbled she didn't like the storms on earth nor did she like them back on Cybertron but here they were just as bad. She picked up speed to keep up with her brother.

Finding an old mine they transformed and ran inside. The rain was pouring like a waterfall, the two stood in the mouth of the cave dripping wet. Firefly frowning.

"If I wanted a bath I would have stayed home" she grumbled.

"You insisted on coming" Knockout said shaking the water off his arms and helm.

"Hey watch it!" She hissed.

(Mini time skip)

The storm was no where near ending, firefly sat snuggled into Knockouts side for warmth. And protection which she would deny later.

The sound of a ground bridge opening caught Knockouts attention. He looked around the trees, then his scanners picked up signals, autobots.

He frowned and a low growl escaped his throat. Firefly moaned in her recharge, claws in his grills as she fought to stay in recharge.

Knockout wrapped his arms around her and looked back out to see the group approaching the cave. He hissed as shook his sister awake.

"You have to go!" He said quietly.

"What? Why?" She asked a little scared.

"The Autobots are here, you have to go.....just run ok? I'll be rate behind you" he said standing her up.

".....No you won't....last time you said that I was Alone" she whimpered trying to fight back against his pushing.

"No time to argue! Do you want Megatron yelling at you, or me begging you to go?!" Knockout shoved her a bit.

Firefly wanted to yell at him, but he had a point, she did say she'd return if she had to, looking back out at the storm she took a shaky breath. Turning to see her brother smiling at her with love and worry. She gave a weak tears smile and bolted out the cave, flinching each time thunder roared.

The autobots were shocked to see the femme running, Arcee was about to chase her when Knockout called out to them. Firefly looked back as she ran to see the group take her brother down, holding him to the ground. Optimus our cuffs on him and picked him up. She saw bumblebee look her way and she kept running.

Transforming once at the road she sped away, crying. Calling for a ground bridge home. Soundwave happily opened one and she rushed through just as Arcee and Bumblebee caught up.

"Where is Knockout?" Megatron asked the femme who laid on the floor shivering from the cold and fear.

"Gone....Autobots...arrived, took him down. Took him as a prisoner....it's all my fault..if I wasn't there he'd be back home" firefly whimpered.

"Hush now...it's not your fault, let's get a oil bath ready to warm you up, I'll deal with the Autobots ok?" He asked his child as she nodded.

Starscream watched his master lead the young femme away from the bridge, a frown on his face. Sure he Knockout butted helms a lot, but he was his only friend on the ship aside from Firefly.

Without Breakdown the medic was an easy target of caught off guard, he could only imagine the fear in her spark having to watch her brother be taken. Soundwave tapped his shoulder to gain his attention.

"Yes I'll go get him" Starscream nodded and walked off.

Entering the wash racks he saw his master on the floor back facing the tub of the bath while Firefly soaked in it. He found it funny that the two where what made Megatron calm, happy, sad, and just what made him strong.

"Master?" He said.

"What?" The warlord asked darkly.

"Soundwave wants you...I can watch over Firefly for you while you are with him" the seeker offered.

"Very well. Just here here, she went into a trance again. She should come to in a little bit" Megatron said getting up kissing her helm and walked off.

The seeker stood there a moment as he looked at her optics, the fear and pain clearly visible in them. He sighed and sat on the edge of the tub.

"Firefly?" He asked.

"A-Starscream?! W-what are y-you doing h-here!" She gasped seeing him.

"To check on you, plus Megatron stepped out for a moment to talk with Soundwave.....are you alright?" He asked.

"..........He got captured because of me...it's my fault he got caught, if he was on his own he'd be fine" she frowned. Tears in her optics once more.

"Hey listen to me, your brother is strong. You of all bots should know that, don't lose faith in him, he will come home, alive" Starscream said.

"How can you be so sure?" She asked.

"Because Megatron loves you both, and he'll do anything to protect what is important to him" Starscream said with a smile.

"Thanks scream....I hope father can get him back soon" Firefly said with a very small smile.

Something funny I was using sire before and now I'm using father. Which do you think I should use sire or father? I Hope I didn't make this to sad. And if I did I'm sorry.
