Too Precious to be Rejected ✔️

Chapter 2

Nash POV

I watched TV while eating chips on the long couch, waiting for Tyler and the rest of the pack to get here, they said they're on their way. Wait, where was Selene? I didn't think it would take her this long to get home, we only lived 15 minutes from our school. I know i shouldn't let her walk home alone but, she just embarrassed me in front of the pack, she deserved that.

I snapped away from my thoughts when the pack arrived and sat on the couches, but Selene was still not in sight. I decided not to let it bother me, she was probably out, running in the woods to get over her embarrassment
I still couldn't believe she was Tyler's mate, our soon to be alpha's mate. Kris went to the kitchen to grab everyone some sodas and ruffles. But when he came back, no sodas and ruffles on sight instead, all he had in his hand is a piece of paper.

"Hey!,you guys must come here and read this letter!" he yelled.

"What's that? If it's not important throw it." i said, annoyed.

"It's from Selene,"

My head snapped at him and i quickly stand up and run over to him. I read the letter quitely, the rest of the pack also read it.

"Maybe she was just out for a run?" Tyler asked.

"No, i know her, she wont just write a letter like that, she's gone, for good," i stated.

"She'll be back, not now but maybe a few days," Tyler stated confidently.

"No!, she wont," I snapped. "You guys treated my sister like a piece of shit, she said to herself!"

"Don't talk like you're innocent, You did too," Tyler reminded me. "What kind of brother treats his sister like that?"

"What kind of Alpha and treats his pack member like that? and reject his mate?" I retorted.

"But, she can't survive on her own, what about her food and rogues?" Tyler insisted, sounding a little worried.

"She'd probably let them kill her before she came back here, who knows one day we'll only just saw her lifeless body from nowhere" i said bitterly.

"No,no,no, NO! this is our fault!"

      I stared at him. why was he so upset about this? She was my sister. He hated her, he didn't even want her as a mate, he rejected her for God's sake! So why the hell he can think he can be all upset over this? He has NO RIGHT. I growled low in my throat. My little sister ran away because we were all horrible jerks to her, because of all the horrible words i said to her. I was a terrible brother, i didn't even protect her for once, i blamed her for our parents death! and because of that, the only family i had left was gone.

"Well, actually im glad that, that little nerd was gone," Alexa announced. As soon as those words left her mouth, my anger takes over and i was out on my seat and slamming her against the wall, her back hit the wall hard.

"Don't you dare say that!" i growled, and she flinched. "She's still my sister! and right now i feel like killing you. How dare you say that in front of me?!" I snapped angrily.

"Oh, get over yourself, Nash. God! You made fun of her every day, just like the rest of us, so don't go acting like a 'Protective brother' and Mr. High and Mighty over here," she snapped.

Her words hit me hard. I closed my eyes and let her go, i felt the prickling tears at the back of my eyes. I didn't even try to stop the tears from coming when i turned on my back. I practically forced my sister to run away because she was being verbally abused and bullied. I pushed past Kris and and ran upstairs. I went into Selene's room, hoping that this was just some cruel jokes she had decided as a revenge. But looking around her blue painted room, my hopes turned into disappointment. Disappoint at myself.
