|Azrael|
He's not here most mornings but if he is, we have breakfast together in utter silence. We haven't spoken more than a word or two since the bath I gave him which I'm still giving him every night.
I've discovered various books so that's what I'm doing to keep myself occupied whilst he is away. Sometimes I sit by the river of souls and watch Cerberus guard the gates from afar. Although he has two more heads which should be scary but he's such a good boy I'm not scared besides the few nights Hades hasn't come to sleep in these two weeks, Cerberus sleeps in my bed.
The reason why I keep myself busy is because I want to keep my family out of my thoughts since I won't achieve anything just by thinking about them. I don't want to disturb them, they have peace now that I'm gone.
Hades has many servants but the ones I see the most around are demons, they're men and women, although I don't think there are genders when it comes to them. I'm slowly getting used to the cold weather down here and the food is great...but then I remember I'm in the underworld which is hell for most people around the world.
Today I'm wearing a white dress with quite the compromising neckline and no shoes, my hair is down in its natural loose waves. I'm currently in the throne room, drawing the gothic arches whilst Cerberus sleeps on the throne. I've been told that Kharon tends to the gates of hell and river of souls whilst Cerberus is away which makes me feel guilty for giving Kharon more work, although he is allowed to leave whenever it pleases him.
One of the drawings in my notebook is Hades sitting on his throne which I drew yesterday. He hasn't seen it and he doesn't have to, I'm just running out of things to draw. Everyone up there would call this fantasy but it's all real.
At this time of the day there's nothing else to do but wonder what is Hades doing. I closed my notebook once I was done with the last arch of the left row, I've already done the outline for the stained glass.
"Come here, Cerberus," I patted the spot in front of me but he just groaned before closing his eyes. "Cerberus," I smiled softly as I got up on my feet to go with him "someone is sleepy". My knees touched the ground in front of the intimidating iron throne "You've been working for thousands of years, you deserve a long nap," my head rested against the front of the left armrest as my eyes closed on me slowly.
When I woke up it was to the feeling of cold hands against my skin. Someone was carrying me. Slowly, I opened my eyes to find that jawline no one else could possess: Hades.
"Good evening, Master," I said softly and a smirk immediately appeared on his lips "you can put me down now."
"I don't want to," he said.
There's no reason to fight him because he is ultimately my owner "Did you draw all day long?"
I nodded slowly "Where is Cerberus?"
