|Azrael|
Athena helped me get into the black gown because my muscles seem to be unresponsive. Maybe this is all my fault for sending that stupid letter; it looks bad, why else would Hades talk to me in that tone?
"Okay, sweetie, I'm done," Athena said softly as she closed my makeup drawer. My eyes fluttered open and the gold around my eyes; it's gorgeous.
"Thank you, Athena," a deep sigh left my mouth. "Do I need to take something else?" I secured the bracelet Hades gave me around my wrist."No," she took a deep breath. "Listen, sweetheart, there are a lot of rules; you have to bow to everyone because you're human."
"But I'm marrying Hades, doesn't that make me important?" A frown appeared upon my face.
"To me it does but to them no. You're just a mortal to them, a toy..."
"Do you think Hades will be angry? I was the one to send the letter and he specifically told me that he didn't want to see his brothers and that I shouldn't intervene but it's just that he had left me for days and I was so desperate, I thought that maybe getting on the good side of Zeus and Poseidon would help him with one of his sorrows," tears flooded my eyes. "What if he's so angry he doesn't love me anymore?" It felt like someone was sucking the air out of my lungs.
