A month went by with no sign of Erebus. It finally came to the day of the wedding and I had forgotten all about him. I stood in the room where people were helping me get ready.
Shay helped me into my dress and one of Liam's friends helped me with my hair and makeup.
"You look beautiful," the vampire, Bella said complimenting me.
"Thanks. Everyone is going to love the dress," I said, smiling as Bella put the finishing touches on my hair and makeup.
I stood up and went to the full-length mirror to look at the girl who was soon to be married.
My hair had been highlighted with a touch of gold and had been pinned up and curled in such an elegant way. My makeup exaggerated my features, making my face look strikingly beautiful.
Bella had done a smokey eye for the eyes, contoured my nose, cheekbones, and my jawline. Made my lips a blood-red color and lightened my skin tone to a more fair cream colored tone.
My dress fit perfectly and a veil had been placed upon my head. I really looked like a bride now. Someone came in and told us five minutes til showtime, and as he left, Jacob came in. His eyes landed on me and he gaped. I laughed and went to him, closing his mouth.
"Sorry, you looked silly," I teased with a smile.
"You look... I can't even begin to describe," he said.
"It's ok, why are you in here?" I asked.
"I'm here to give you away," he answered.
"What?! No, Jacob, you don't-," I said before he stopped me.
"I know I couldn't watch you walk down the aisle by yourself so the least I could do is allow myself to give you away," he explained.
Before I could say anymore, Jacob led me out to the closed doors leading to the church. One of the ushers there gave us the countdown from thirty.
I put my hand in the crook of Jacob's arm as someone handed me my bouquet of red roses. Pretty soon the usher hit ten and the organ began to play. The doors opened and we began to walk forward.
Everyone turned to us and I saw many smile, but mostly everyone was transfixed on me. My gaze went to Liam down the aisle, who's eyes widened and I saw him gulp, trying to compose himself.
We finally reached him and the priest who I assumed was a vampire. Jacob kissed my cheek and I hugged him one last time before he handed me over to Liam.
Jacob then went over by the other groomsmen, trying to stand tall. Shay came and took my bouquet and then I was ready to get married to the only man I was in love with.
The priest told us to join hands and began with a few prayers. The ceremony went on until it was time for our vows. Liam went first.
"Anna, ever since I saw you for the first time in my life, I knew I loved you. Everything about you is unique. I can't wait to live the rest of my eternal life with you," he said. Now it was my turn. I looked to Jacob who nodded supportively then I started.
"Liam, you've really made my life a roller coaster and it's one heck of a ride," People laughed, giving me the courage to go on.
"But, I've never loved anyone more in my life, other than my family, than you," I said my eyes tearing up a little. "And I will love every moment I spend with you, and not a day will go by that I won't miss you by my side," I finished. Liam smiled and then the priest gathered our rings, giving mine to Liam and his to me.
"Anna, do you take Liam to be your husband, in sickness and in health and until death do you part?" The priest asked.
"I do," as Liam slipped the ring onto my finger. Then the priest turned to Liam.
