I stood in the hallway a little longer, getting the urge to go back and stay with Liam, but I figured it was best to go to my room as Liam told me to.

I headed down the hall, listening to my mind tell me that Liam was growing apart from me. I sighed nearing the door to my room and opened the door to my room.

I trudged over to my bed and laid down, closing my eyes and shutting everything out. I hoped that Erebus would have a weakness for me to find and destroy him once and for all, but with that comes research.

I wasn't in the mood to research anything at the moment, but maybe tomorrow I'd do it. Liam would feed and be healed and I would find a way to destroy Erebus. I let myself drift off and pray that there was still hope for all of us.

The next morning I was aroused by a soft and gentle touch. Someone brushed a few strands of hair away from my face lightly, then stroked my cheek. I stiffened thinking that it was Erebus but a soothing voice answered instead of a cool velvety one.

"It's just me," Liam said. A smile broke on my face as I opened my eyes to meet Liam's icy blue ones across from me. My smile widened, and I noticed Liam looked healthier.

"Did you feed already?" I asked cuddling up next to him savoring his warmth.

"Yes, I did. I went early so you could stop worrying," he said stroking my hair. I laughed softly.

"So, you think I worry too much do you?" I asked getting up on my elbow to look at him, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, I think you're the only person I've met that worries every second of every day," Liam said before pulling me down for a long kiss. In the middle of the kiss, Jacob came in.

"Oh come on you two, get up!" Jacob said trying not to laugh.

"Ugh, five more minutes," Liam groaned.

"Liam, I will physically come over there and remove Anna from you for the rest of the day," Jacob said trying to sound threatening, but didn't manage to.

"I think Jacob is right. Besides, I wanted to find Erebus's weaknesses and see if I could find something," I whispered to Liam, lowering my lashes.

"Did you want any help?" Liam offered.

"If you want to you can," I said.

"Alright then, let's get started," Liam said and smiled. We got up and headed down to the living room and began scanning the rows of books lined up on the bookshelf against the wall.

"So what sort of thing are we looking for?" Liam asked.

"I'm surprised you don't know the answer to that. I thought you would've known, but I'd say something about Lucifer, demons or something with darkness and how to destroy it," I answered, scanning the many books on the shelf.

We searched for about an hour, believing that there was nothing when my eyes landed on a big black leather-bound book. I picked it off the shelf and knew this was the book I'd been looking for.

"Found it," I said turning to Liam and held the book up for him to see. We went over to the couch and sat down. My hands were shaking a bit as I opened the cover of the book.

"The Secrets of Darkness. Wow, what a great title," I said sarcastically. We looked through the table of contents landing on the demon section. I flipped to it and the first thing I saw was a picture of a dagger. Its blade looked like it was made out of silver and the handle was carved out of bone. I read over what it said to do. The dagger had to have a spell placed on it by a witch, then had to be dipped in blood.

"This seems more complicated than I thought," I said roaming over the page again.

"Well, I thought Erebus isn't technically a demon, although he has demon blood in him, because Sebastian was his brother," Liam said.

"Wait a minute. Erebus was Sebastian's brother, who was probably very close to him, and I bet when Erebus found out that Sebastian was dead and heard it was us who killed him, he went to someone or did a spell himself or sold his soul to the devil to become more powerful and invincible so he could destroy us," I said finally realizing a possible answer.

"We know that silver is one of his weaknesses, but it's not enough to destroy him...we'll have to find someone who knows more about him that just us and this book," Liam said. I smiled, knowing exactly who.

"I know who can help us," I said and got off the couch to make a call. The phone rang three times before someone picked up.

"Hello?" they said.

"Hey, it's Anna. Is Dane there?" I asked.

"Hey Anna," Dane answered.

"Dane I need your help with something," I said.

"What do you need?" he asked.

"I need help to find Erebus's weaknesses to destroy him," I answered. There was silence on the other end before Dane answered.

"Anna, I know Shay helped you with Anya, but Erebus is something, I can't help you with," Dane said flatly.

"But...but I thought you'd...," I stopped, confused thinking Dane was knowledgeable on things about Erebus.

"Anna, I'm sorry but there's no possible way to defeat Erebus, it's impossible," Dane said before the line went dead. I lowered the phone from my ear, silent and turned to Liam and shook my head.

"Dane knows nothing on how to destroy him?" he asked crossing his arms over his chest.

"He doesn't, but I thought that Shay told us Dane was educating her on this kind of thing," I said.

"Something's up and Dane doesn't want us to know what it is," Liam said, sighing heavily. Suddenly Jacob broke in.

"Maybe Dane doesn't want you to kill Erebus," Jacob said. Me and Liam both turned and faced Jacob realizing that he might actually be right.
