I changed out of my wedding dress and got into something a bit more badass. A black leather jacket, black camisole, black skintight jeans, and black boots.
I then went downstairs and to a secret room where Liam and Jacob kept their weapons. I grabbed stakes, silver knives, silver bullets, and guns until I was armed to the teeth.
I slipped the knife up my jacket sleeve then turned on my heel and went to fight Erebus and end this once and for all.
I knew Erebus would need a better place to keep those he took hidden and I knew exactly where. I reached the mansion and went up the drive, looking at the house the whole way up, as it loomed over me.
I was surprised to see no guards at the door but guessed Erebus didn't want to start the show just yet. I got to the door and placed a hand on one of the doorknobs. I took a deep breath and then turned the knob and went inside.
The entry was dimmed with a few candles lit.
"Well, well, well look who's here. It's the little hunter," a voice purred from up above. I looked up and saw Erebus leaning over the banister, smugly gazing down at me with his orange eyes glowing.
"Where are they?" I growled, slipping the knife down in my sleeve. Erebus hopped over the banister and landed gracefully in front of me.
"Look at you, all brave and dangerous. I bet an hour ago you were scared to death, thinking of all the terrible things I was doing to your husband and his brother," Erebus sneered coming toward me.
"Shut up!" I yelled sliding the knife down a little farther. He chuckled shaking his head. In a flash, he grabbed me and rushed us upstairs.
I stumbled into his room once he let go of me as he shut the door and locked it behind him. He turned to me.
"Now what little secrets are you hiding?" he asked coming to me again. I caught hold of the knife and arched it in front of me, making Erebus take a step back. "Oh wow! A knife. It's useless against me" Erebus said gleefully ignoring my threat. I let out an angered cry rushed at Erebus.
He caught me as I forced the dagger toward him, while he forced it back. His grip on my wrist slipped and the dagger slid across his cheek burning his skin.
He howled in pain and lashed out at me, his claws ripped the front of my camisole and grazed my skin beneath. I jumped back when my heel struck the bed and I found myself going down.
I fell on the bed and started to get up when Erebus slammed a hard punch against my head with one of his wings and I blacked out.
When I came to, I was still on the bed, none of my weapons had been removed, but I found my hands shackled to the bedposts.
"Sleep well?" Erebus asked leaning down, running his tongue across my cheek. I bucked beneath him, but he held. "I wanted to add some fun, so I didn't remove your weapons. I'm curious to see what you brought though," he purred. First, he slid one of the smaller silver daggers I had out of my boot. "Silver....never had a thing for it," he said wincing as the silver burnt his unprotected skin. He tossed the dagger over his shoulder where it clattered to the floor.
He reached into the other boot and found the small bag of silver bullets. He opened the bag and dumped a few in his hand and hissed in pain as the silver burnt his hand. He tossed those on the floor near the dagger. Next, he removed the wire from the inside of my jacket sleeve.
"Ah, gagging wire. That's one I haven't seen in a while," he said amused as the wire went to the floor as well. His eyes landed on the weapons belt around my waist and removed it, dropping the entire thing to the floor not bothering to look at it. "You've been such a bad little girl. I think you need to be punished," Erebus said softly, sliding a hand from my waist down to my thigh, causing me to shiver.
