I looked at Jacob, then at Liam and back at Jacob.
"Why would you think that?" I asked him.
"Well Erebus did take us hostage, so I bet Dane is under the control of Erebus," Jacob answered.
"Oh my god! Jacob, you're right! Thank you so much!" I exclaimed.
Jacob approached me and planted a kiss on my forehead. He smiled down at me and I smiled back then got us back to the subject of business.
"But this still doesn't lead us any closer to destroying Erebus," I said.
"We'll find a way...together," Liam answered, looking at both Jacob and me.
"Wait! I remember in Supernatural, they'd used some sort of Phantogram with a demon holding spell that would trap the demon under it and make it easier to either remove the demon from the person or kill the demon with the knife in that book," I explained, pointing to the book. "It has to work!" I said with hope.
"We'll make it work, we promise," Jacob said. A problem suddenly broke through me.
"Wait, but if Dane is under the control of Erebus, do you think Shanaya is too?" I asked fear swirling in my stomach.
"If she is, we'll save her. Just think of it as a sire bond. Once we kill Erebus, Dane and Shanaya will be free," Liam said calmly. I nodded and held onto that thought that this plan was going to work.
Liam and Jacob and I went through a few more of the books to look for some of the requirements for the demon trap to work. The book had a spell and ways to lure the demon into the trap without knowing that there was a trap.
"The book says the Phantogram should be placed on the ceiling where the demon won't be able to see it," Jacob explained as he read from the book.
"Ok, but where are we going to put the trap?" Liam asked.
"Erebus's cellar or down where you guys keep your weapons, but not to where he can get to them," I answered.
"I believe that putting the trap here would be better then we wouldn't have to worry about being caught," Jacob said.
"Yeah, that'd be perfect! Does the book say how long this whole thing will take to get setup?" I asked.
"It says five days," Jacob answered.
"Ok, let's get started then," I said.
Day 1: "Ok, so we know what we're going to do, so know what?" I asked, leaning over Jacob's shoulder to examine the book.
"Now we plan on how we're going to get Erebus here and trap him," Jacob answered.
"That should be easy," I said, shrugging.
"Anna, it may sound easy, but remember Erebus has the upper hand with his new army of demons," Jacob reminded.
"Crap, how could I forget," I groaned. "Well do you have a better plan on how you're going to deal with them?" I continued.
"If we were to destroy his army and Erebus, we'd have to make traps for each demon," Jacob answered.
"Any better ideas?" I asked. Jacob paused.
"I think that if Erebus dies, then the demons will all die as well since they're all sired to him," Jacob answered.
"Ok, kill Erebus and his army dies with him," I said to myself. While we were discussing this, Liam came in and saw us together.
"What are you guys talking about?" Liam asked, skeptically.
"How we're going to kill Erebus," I answered.
