Chapter 76

~ Jenna's POV ~

I was so tired. We were to stay at Ron and Chrissy that night but Paul needed Marshall at the hotel where he'd stayed to work and now we were on our way there. Lucky for me it was quite close and I did my best to stay awake in the cab even though Hailie said that I should probably get some rest. She wiggled her eyebrows at me and Marshall growled at her being his daughter and all but she just laughed. I could feel the heat on my cheeks flaring in the night.

"Make yourself comfortable baby I'll be right back" Marshall kissed me softly as he left me in his room to go and see what Paul wanted.

I took my weekend bag into the bathroom and finally I could have a proper shower with soft soap who does not smell like hospital. I took my time and then dried my hair and brushed my teeth. I knew that if I just as much as went near the bed I would fall asleep and I wanted to wait for Marshall. Sadly it was an impossible task to keep a pregnant woman awake for so many hours and I fell asleep in a comfortable chair by the window where I had placed myself in my wait for my love.

I woke up of someone lifted me and carried me to the bed. I put my arms around him and inhaled his scent that I had missed so much.

"I tried to stay awake" I mumbled and he shook his head softly at me. "I wanted to wait for you" I continued and he chuckled a little as he placed me in the very soft bed.

"You crazy girl. You should have slept while you could" he kissed me and left me to go to the bathroom for his nightly routine.

I could hear the shower run before I fell asleep again and I got startled awake a moment later when Marshall came back to the bed, this time without clothes.

"I'm sorry baby girl but I have missed your touch and hot body way too much to let you sleep tonight" he said and stared to kiss me down my neck to my chest. "You need to stop me now and call me for what I am, a selfish piece of shit if you really want to go back to sleep now" he said but my lust for him was already lit. I snaked my arms around his neck and pulled him over me to let him continue with his kissing and sucking at my skin.

"I've missed you too" I moaned out and he took a sharp inhale of air between his teeth before he continued his mission of kissing my whole body.

My skin was on fire. Everywhere he touched me it was as he started flames in my body. I could feel the awaited urge in my lower belly and before he did anything else I froze and sat up in bed, almost in panic.

"What's the matter baby girl?" Marshall backed off immediately and tried to look at me if he had hurt me in any way.

"I just ... can we hurt the baby?" I asked him quietly as I looked him in the eyes to see if he was honest when he answered me.

"Oh no Jenna. We can't do anything to the child, it's safe in there" he nodded at my stomach and my hand went there to shield it.

"But I mean, from the ... inside?" I had to look away because I didn't even know that he wanted to have sex with me now, he might settle for kissing.

"Gorgeous, do you think I would do anything that could harm the baby?" he asked me but I still was not sure of this.

"Maybe I do something, unconsciously" I said and started to fiddle with my fingers until he grabbed my hands and made me stop.

"What can I do baby girl?" he asked and I shrugged at him.

"I'm sorry Marshall, I don't mean to ruin this" I could feel my eyes start to tear up and I tried to blink it away. "I've missed you so much and I really want to ..." my voice faded and he held me around my waist.
