"Your girlfriend?? What the hell are you talking about?!" Wes questioned, his voice rising in anger. I gulped, and shot Logan a "you just screwed up" look. It was too late though, Logan seemed like he was going to rip Wes' head off.
"It means she's my girlfriend Wes! Don't kiss her because she's with me!" He growled, and Wes stared at me, anger flashing in his eyes. I could feel both of them competing in some sort of "stare-down" and I knew I needed to fix this. Somehow.
"Look you guys we just need to talk about this in a civilized manner." I began, and they both looked at me, still obviously pissed. I gulped. "Listen, it's not going to help if you two are at each other's throats. So if we can just talk about this..." Wes interrupted me angrily.
"Talk about what? What exactly is there to talk about? How you lead ALL of us on, acting as though we stood a chance with you? Is that what we need to talk about? How you made me fall in love with you, and yet you go behind my back and get with my brother?!" He yelled angrily.
Okay ouch, that hurt.
"You led us on. Peyton, me, even Logan! And in the end, you choose him?" Wes questioned, disgusted.
I could see Logan's eyes flash a dangerous crimson color. "You better shut the fuck up right now Wes, if you like your face the way it looks." He hissed angrily, and Wes let out a dry laugh.
"Let me ask you something Gracie...." He began, as he turned to me. He had a very mean look on his face, one I wasn't use to on him. It scared me. "Do you honestly think he'll love you?" He said, almost in a belittling manner. "He can't. He's not capable. He's selfish, and he only thinks about number one. HIMSELF."
I could see the anger building inside Logan. "You're not special to him. You're just another name on the list. And when he's done with you....he'll move on. He won't even give a damn if he breaks your heart." I shook my head, and that's when Logan exploded.
He reeled his fist back, plowing it into Wes's face.
"You don't know anything about our relationship!" Logan roared, as he tackled Wes to the ground. "I love her, and she knows that! Nothing you can say will change that! You're just a jealous son-of-a-bitch!" He growled, as he slammed into Wes.
I stood there in complete shock. That's when Wes fought back. Oh my god. Wes shoved Logan off him, and it sent him flying into the opposite wall. It crumbled against him, and Logan's eyes glistened red. He dashed after Wes, and kicked him in the gut. They began to fight violently, and blood began to splatter.
I let out a scream. "STOP IT!" I yelled, as I ran towards them. They ignored me, and continuing beating each other. "I SAID STOP IT PLEASE!" I cried out.
It was useless. No one would listen. So I ran to the cupboard, and grabbed onto a couple of pans. This will do. I then ran back to them, and started chucking it at them. Yes, I was throwing kitchen appliances.
But desperate times calls for desperate measures.
It slammed into Wes' face, and into Logan's gut. They stopped momentarily, though I knew it didn't hurt them in the least bit. "ENOUGH!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Will you two just stop it?!" I yelled angrily.
I stared at them both, breathing heavily. "Will you guys just quit? I beg you. I don't want it to be like this between you. You're brothers for god sakes!" I cried, and Wes wiped his bleeding lip. Logan balled up his fists, obviously trying to hold in his anger.
"I don't give a damn about if we're "brothers." You know what? You two are perfect for each other. You're both lying sons-of-bitches. Have a nice fucking life." He spat, as he disappeared out of sight. I stood there, motionless and silent.
