Today is Jamie Alexander Gray's 16th birthday. He got nothing, per usual. Not even a happy birthday. He decided to skip school and come back home when he knew his parents and sister would have left the house.

He hated his family. They were inconsiderate and illogical. They took notice to problems they had and did nothing but let them develop into disasters. They thought it was fun to sit around all day doing nothing but eat junk food and watch videos on their screens.

Despite it being more than seven decades since the last major technological advancement was made on earth, no scientist seemed to have their heart set on change. They built more of what was destroying the planet we lived on instead of finding ways to save us all. As a teenager I had invented more things than my school teachers considered normal.

I had just spent almost a year developing a portable, miniature habitat that would have a constant heat almost a full 20 degrees lower than the average outside temperature of around 45 degrees Celsius. I was using it to grow small plants that were going extinct in the current age's heat.

I had also made an air cleanser helmet when I was thirteen. I made it to expand when I grow so I could wear it until the day I die. It featured built in air conditioning, the all-obvious air cleanser, a surround sound system and an intelligence visor. I gained inspiration for it from the movie Man of War that was based on the movie Iron Man from over a century ago. I took the flaws from both and the benefits from both and made it into my own.

It had a one way glass screen to see out of and a virtual assistant I named Stella. The glass was nature proof and had a built in screen for analyzing the environment and other everyday objects. It was perfect for the world man kind had destroyed.
