[im so sorry, this was written early one morning when i was delirious from lack of sleep, but i thought it was hilarious, so im keeping it up]
In the year 2236, humans had virtually completely evolved to have no toenails. A number of scientists of the early 21st century had predicted that over the course of a couple of hundred years that such a thing would come to pass, and it turned out they were right.
Most of the commoners and normal people had no toenails, however, the upper class and olden timed people believed that those with toenails were more deserving of privilege than those without.
So when King Dollaforra and Queen Monoroma of D'Gramanshay give birth to a toenailless brat, they attempt to hide Princess Freya from their kingdom. However, in their attempts to protect their daughter, the King and Queen grew distant with their daughter. They hired a teacher to tutor Princess Freya and he told her about the great outside world and how there were other people out there without toenails.
After years of hearing stories of others without toenails, Freya wants to meet other people like her, and she sneaks out of the palace and into the 'real world'.
