We sat in the living room eating when Max's phone called, it was Jessica, he answered.
I jumped when he got from a nervous to a serious and angry voice. He stood up and yelled, "Touch them and I'll put a bullet through your brain!"

Ash, Max, and I were on our way to save Jessica and Michael. When we got there we saw the police. We walked out of the truck and run-up to the house, the cops trying to push us away.
"Jessica, Michael!" Max yelled.

We got to the living room there we saw Jessica and Michael, Michael an up to Max and hugged him "Daddy!" He screamed

"Michael, I'm so relieved. You're safe" Max lifted up Michael and Jessica stood up from the couch.

"Come with us, Michael. Your daddy and mommy need to talk" I said as I took him from Max and walked out, Ash following us.

I sat Michael down on the swing in the yard and we kneeled down in front of him, Ash asked what happened, "They just came crashing in. Mommy tried to hide me in the kitchen, and then they got mad. And then..." Michael started to cry. Ash and I hugged him. "I'm sorry for making you remember all that" Ash said

"Did your mom call the cops?" I asked.

"George did. He was on the phone with mommy" he said as we stood up.

"So that's why they ran. Were they white or black?" Ash asked Michael looked up at him

"They weren't either," he said and we looked shocked. I picked up Michael and we run in, I gave him to Jessica and we run out to the truck. "Ash, Y/n, why are we hurrying back?" Max asked as he sat down in the truck.

"Chinatown sold us out," I said and Max looked confused.

"I knew Yau-Si was a spy," Ash said

We got out of the car and ran into the house to find Ibe on the floor. "Shunichi! Are you okay? What happened? Where's Eiji and Shorter?" Max asked as he lifted him up, he tried to speak but nothing got out.

Ash stood up and started to walk away, "Where are you going?" Max asked, looking at him, "Chinatown! Where else would they be?" Ash yelled

"Wait, he's trying to speak," I said and Ash turned around

"Not... there..."

Max laid him on the couch as Ibe tried to speak, "Take it easy, Shunichi" Max said, "New York... to Chinatown... to get... Eiji back..." He said Max looked at me and Ash.

"Then it really was Shorter," Ash said

"Yau-Si is behind it all," I said and looked up at Ash.

"I can't believe it. Shorter betrayed us?" Max said.

"He's Chinese, too. He must've suffered. I should've been more careful. He has a sister in New York" Ash said.

I felt someone watching us, I took out my gun and held it at the stares, "Who's there? I know you're there. Come out" I yelled, it was silent, "I'm in a really bad mood right now. Come out, or I kill you!" I yelled again.

"Wait, don't shoot," an unknown voice said, when the person showed themselves, it was a man, "Who are you?" Ash asked me.

"You tell me. Breaking into my house like that" the man said, I took away my gun, "So you're..." Ash asked and the man continued, "I'm Alexis Dawson"

||Time skip||

Alexis gave Ibe a syringe that antidote works on most muscle relaxants, "Banana Fish... You made it, didn't you?" Ash asked. Alexis looked at us and I continued, "My dad and his brother were drugged by it in Iraq. They totally lost it and were shot dead by your brother,"

"What?" He asked shocked, "I was there when they were drugged. They were my best friends. We have the right to know" Max said. 

Alexis looked down but Ash grabbed him by the shirt, "I don't have time to sit around and chat. The guys your brother has joined up with have kidnapped my friend" Ash said, "Fine" he said and Ash let him go. 

We walked into a room, Alexis pressed a button and a secret door opened. We stepped inside and Alexis talked about what happened when they created Banana Fish, "Banana Fish includes "bad trips" to anyone who uses it. No human can escape from that nightmare. Fear, hatred... It amplifies all nervous emotions. Have you heard of drug hypnosis?"

"A type of hypnosis using drugs made by the former USSR. It was made to force people into spying and assassination. But I heard it wasn't reliable and couldn't be put to use" Max said

"Banana Fish makes it 100 percent reliable. Give it to a person and tell him that immigrants are pests and should be killed, and he'll start killing immigrants" Alexis continued and my eyes widened, "No...impossible" I whispered.

"Abraham was the first to realize that. Our friend tried the newly created drug and died. I got scared and disposed of the drug, but Abraham had hidden a stash. And in Iraq, he tested it on soldiers" Alexis told us, I looked down, tears in my eyes, Ash got up to him and held him against the wall, "All because of what you made, Griffin, F/n, everyone else... they suffered from endless nightmares..." Ash yelled and looked away from us, I sighed, "I think I know what the old man is up to, he's joining hands with your brother to make a deal with the US government," I said and looked up at Ash.

Max held his head and mumbled a quiet, "Holy hell" as we looked at Alexis, "I realize what Abraham was doing and confiscated the drug. I was going to destroy it for good. But—"

"But you didn't," I said angrily

"I'm a scientist. I couldn't bring myself to destroy a new discovery" I gritted my teeth and was going to punch him when Max grabbed my arm, "Let go of me! He deserves it!" I yelled and Max gave me to Ash, "That's not it," he said as he walked up to Alexis, "Let me do it," he said as he punched his face. Ibe catch him and helped him stand up again, he smiled at us and punched Alexis in the face before he fell to the floor.

"Dino Golzine's great conspiracy, huh If the government-backed him up, he'll be the top dog of the underworld," Max said but got silent when he saw the guys in front of us, my eyes widen "Damn it" Ash whispered and held me behind him.

"Everybody's here now. I'm taking you all to New York" the leader said, he walked up to us. The guys bind our hands and Ash complained that his and my hands are behind our backs and not the others. The leader made a point about why we had our hands behind our backs. I had my gun (you can choose yourself) and Ash has his gun in his pants.

I watched when the guy that was the leader walked up to Ash and punched him in the face and kicked him in the stomach "Ash!" I yelled

"You'll kill him!" Max yelled

"No, Mr. Golzine has claimed the right to do that. Oh yeah, Max. Your wife is pretty hot," the guy said

"So you're the one..." Max said and walked up to him but got knocked in the head and fell to the floor.

"You'll pay for what you did to her" Max growled, the guy smirked and looked at me.

"Oh Y/n, Arthur is going to take very good care of you when we get there," he said, my eyes widen, I growled and whispered "Like hell, he is," as he said to the others "Take them away" 

As we walked out, they got the whole house on fire. We stood outside, watching the house burn until they dragged us away. For the first time in years, I felt a feeling I hated the most... Fear.
