||Y/n POV||
We were hiding and saw Ash and the others, trapped. "Ash" Eiji whispered.
"Sing" we heard someone say we looked in the direction to see Alex and Cain, "This is bad"

We saw the soldiers drive away with the others. "I follow the truck," Alex said. I looked at him and said "Be careful" he nodded and ran off. I looked back at Ash.

||Time skip||

We followed Foxx and Ash. We stood outside the building, "2 on watch outside. 4 inside" Sing said. "We need to contact Ash and take action from inside and out," Cain said

We took our guns out and we heard gunshots from inside, Eiji and Sing shoot at the guards. And we run in. We find Ash, "Ash, your safe" Eiji said, Ash looked at us in anger, "You idiots, why did you come back? We got to get out of here" He yelled and we ran out.

As we got out, we all tried to get our breaths, "We'll be safe here," Sing said and I looked at Ash and saw him tremble. Cain and I walked up to him, "Are you okay? Show me your wounds," Cain said, his hand on Ash's shoulder but he snatched it away.

"What's wrong?" Cain asked as I looked at Ash worriedly. "Sorry, it's nothing," he said and looked away from us. The look in his eyes, I have seen it before, fear, I frowned, 'Oh, Ash,' I thought sadly. 

"I just need some rest," He said and sat down on a box. Eiji and I walked up to him, hugged him and I felt him stop trembling.

||Ash's POV||
We were at the garage, Cain and Sing opened the doors and everyone was there, "Where's Willie and Yang?" Lao asked

"They were caught. They and about 10 others" Sing said Lao looked angrier.

"I know where they went. The National Mental Health Institute" I said while Y/n fixed the bandage around my arm, "If you knew, why didn't you help them?" Lao yelled at me.

"I was caught, too. Sing and Cain saved my life" I said. 

"You left our guys to die and saved him instead?!" He yelled and Y/n sighed with annoyance, "I didn't have a choice" Sing yelled back.

"There were more than 20 of them. All pros, too. We'd just get caught if we tried anything," Cain said and Lao mucked back. I stood up and took my jacket on, listening when they fight, "Nothing better to do?" I asked and they looked at me.

"Have it your way. But don't get in my way anymore" I said. "He's right. If you're not serious about this, get out" Cain said to the guy that fights with Lao.

We were at our hideout, Ash and I walked into a room and saw Jessica holding her head with a worried expression, she was sitting at the computer. "Makes you sick, huh?" Ash asked and she looked up at us, "If this release, it would throw The White House into an uproar. An unheard-of scandal" she said.

"It's our last resort. All we can do is expose his connections with government officials. As long as we have this, Max is safe. We can't say for how long though," I said and sat beside her, "How will they come for us?" She asked, Ash was going to answer but Alex walked in

"Ash, Y/n, everyone's here" we were walking when Jessica asked something, "Ash, that day, were you...?" She stopped herself "Sorry, it's nothing,"

"Yeah, I was. You want to know if I was raped, right?" He said, and I frowned. "How can you be so calm about it? It took me 6 mounts to get back up on my feet" she said

"I'd be dead long before now if it took me that long," he said and walked out, I just stood there, "Y/n?" Jessica asked I turned around, tears running down my face. Jessica stood up and hugged me, "I don't want to remember," I whispered as I cried into her chest, "Shh, I know Y/n, I know," she said, comforting me.

||Time skip||

||Y/n's POV||
We sat at a table and Eiji was teaching Ash and me some Japanese. "Okay, and here's how you say goodbye. Sa-yo-na-ra" Eiji said

"Sa-yo-na-ra" Ash and I said at the same time. Eiji looked behind me and pushes me and Ash to the floor... "Watch out!" He yelled, I heard a gunshot and looked at Eiji, someone shot him, "Eiji!" We yelled. I took out my gun, Ash did the same, and I got shot in the stomach. I groaned and shot one of the guys, again, again and again. Ash runs after the other guy.

Jessica, Alex, and Cain walked into the room and called an ambulance.

I run up to Eiji and cradle him in my arms. Ash walked in and kneeled down at us when I noticed he was also shot, "Ash, you're..." 

"I'm fine..." he said and looked at Eiji who opened his eyes, "Ash, Y/n... You're safe. Good.." he said and closed his eyes again. I shook my head,

Flashback
Tears streamed down my face as Skip took his last breath

"Eiji, Eiji!" I yelled. I stood up but fell to the floor, Alex caught me and laid me on the floor, Ash kneeled down beside me and held my hand, "No, not you too Y/n, please," He said, his eyes showing sadness and hope" I smiled at him

"I-I will be okay," I said more to convince myself and I felt my eyes getting heavier and the wound bleeding faster. The last thing I heard before everything got black was Ash saying:

"Hold on Y/n"
