||Y/n-POV||
Eiji and Ibe were talking in the living room, while I looked out of the window as I sat in their guest room. Eiji suddenly walked in, I noticed him looking over at my bedside table and his smile dropped when he saw the food he gave me this morning wasn't gone.

He looked at me, I didn't take my eyes off of the sky. "Y/n, you need to eat something. You haven't eaten nor slept in days now" he said and walked up to me, took a chair, and sat beside me. 

I sighed, "I just want this to end, I want to be free from this nightmare, I wish I was the one that got shot Skip, not dad and not Griff. I just... I didn't expect dad to join mom so soon" I cried silently as Eiji stood up and hugged me, my eyes widen, "E-Eiji?" I asked. 

"How can you say that? Ash would be more broken if it was you who got hurt!" I sighed and hugged him back, "I don't know about that... but can you go please? I... I want to be alone" he broke the hug and walked out but stopped in the doorway.

"Oh, I almost forgot, Ash, is out of prison, want to pick him up?" I smiled sadly and nodded.

||Time skip||

||Eiji's-POV||
We had picked Ash up and Y/n was finally sleeping in the car. Ash was talking about his brother but Charlie couldn't take it anymore and told him everything that happened I told him how bad Y/n felt about it and blamed herself for it. 

We sat in the car Y/n beside me, still sleeping.
"You okay?" Charlie asked. Ash told him to stop the car and he did. Charlie walked out of the car and got to Ash's side and opened the door only for Ash to hold up his gun at Charlie and told us to get out but leave Y/n. Ibe and Charlie started to tackle Ash and I sat in the car and started to drive at full speed.

After some minutes Ash told me to stop the car and get out. I stopped the car but protested to step out and he looked at Y/n that was now slowly waking up, "Hm? what's happening?" She asked, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Oh, hi Ash, how are you?" She asked when she spotted him and he frowned when he saw the bags under her eyes and her pale face. "Have you slept at all?" He asked she nodded

"Just now," she said, giggling a bit.

"Y/n," he said in a warning tone and Y/n sighed, giving him a sad look, "I'm guessing Eiji told you everything... I-I'm sorry, It's... It's all my fault" 

Ash shook his head, "It's not your fault, don't take everything on yourself. You need to sleep more and take care of yourself instead of thinking of... what happened" he said and turned to me and said that we could have it my way and I can come with, but I have to look after myself.

"I'm sorry Y/n, for what happened to F/n," He said and looked back at her.

"Thanks, Ash... and, I'm sorry about Griff" he gave her a smile.

"Don't think about it and try to sleep" she nodded and laid down in the back seat.

||Time skip||

||Ash-POV||
We were walking down the street when I felt someone following us.

"Keep walking. Don't look back" I said and we turned into an alleyway. 
When the guy got up to us, he took out his knife but I kneeled him in the stomach, he dropped the knife and fell to the ground.
Shorter shortly showed up afterward, "Shorter, Eiji, you're going back now. Y/n and I take it from here" I said and held Y/n's waist.

He yelled at me and Y/n over the thought of us taking down Dino and his guys by ourself's. I sighed and agreed with him and Eiji to help us.

||Next day||

||Y/n POV||
We stood outside the place we were staying at and talked about Club Cod.
I felt disgusted just thinking about it.
"Club cod?" Eiji asked

"It's a seafood restaurant. But they don't only serve seafood. They sell other living beings, too.... humans" Ash said and looked at me, "The place is run by Dino. It's a secret club in his taste with a good profit. The merchandise is kids" I continued.

"Most customers are distinguished people. So it's top secret. And that way, Dino has control over these people. He catches runaway kids to sell off as merchandise. The kids are drugged so they can't run and only live a few years. And so the secret is safe" Ash said. 

Eiji mumbled, "That's gross" and looked down. I looked down as well, hugging Ash tighter.

'Yea, but be glad you weren't one of those kids,' I thought as Ash played with my hair and hugged me. I slightly blushed at his way of comfort.

||Time skip||

Shorter and Eiji were in a truck and drive like crazy while I and Ash were on the top of the truck, shooting down two of Golzine's guys. Dino looked in our direction and we stood up, holding our guns at him.

"Ash, Y/n! You want me out of the picture that much?" Dino yelled at us, Ash and I were going to shoot at him but we got shot in our shoulders, I fell back and Ash got to shoot Dino's shoulder before falling back as well. We saw Arthur and his guys standing by a window.

"Arthur you bastard ..." Ash growled

The truck crashed and we jumped off. We ran and hid behind some tables when Ibe and Max showed up. We saw a guy holding his gun at them, I shot him and Max yelled at us to run to the river before running over and jumping into the river, we did the same.

When we got to land again, Ash and I were going to walk away from the others when Max yelled at us and knocked us out.

||Time skip||

I woke up and saw Ash walking out of the room. Eiji was asleep while Ibe, Max, and Shorter were talking.

I stood up, being careful because of my bandaged shoulder. But I let out a small whine, catching the three men's attention "Y/n, you need your rest" Ibe said and I shook my head "How can I rest when I know everything that's going on? Where's Ash?" I said and Max sighed "Stubborn just like your father. He's on the roof" Max said and ruffled my hair. He gave me a sad smile as I walked out to find Ash.

I peeked out from behind the door to see Ash sitting on the edge of the roof. He had his face down. "Ash?" I asked, walking up to him, he looked at me, making me see his tears. I kneeled down beside him and hugged him, his head agents my chest and his arms around me.

"Griff..." he whispered and I parted from the hug. I held his cheeks in my hands so he looked at me as I send him a smile. 

"It's ok Ash, I bet he would be proud of you," I said as we looked into each other's eyes, I felt how his hand made its way to the back of my head, the other holding my waist. We lean in and our lips meet, I felt him smile against my lips.

When we parted, we smiled at each other and looked into each other's eyes, his green orbs meeting my e/c once. He whispered a quiet... "I love you, Y/n" in my ear, I felt my face becoming red and I nervously smiled, "I love you, too" I whispered, feeling my heart beat faster and melt.

'So, this is love?'
