The next few days passed and a new trend was happening that I couldn't help but join. Singing Disney songs everywhere.

It all started when Garrison was yelling at some kid and told them to "let it go" and I couldn't help but start mumbling the song under my breath until the kids behind me started to back me up with a Capella until I had to sing it out loud.

I got dressed today and drove the guys, who seemed slightly annoyed with life. I felt their pain. But Garrison pushed it even farther by saying that someday everyone will be- "Part of your world!" The kids sang out and looked to me. I sighed and started.

"I don't know when, I don't know how, but I know something's starting right nowwww! Watch and you'll see. Someday I'll be... Part of your... Worlllld!" I sang out as kids a cappella-ed the tune behind me.

In another lesson later, Garrison said, "You're just going to have to wait a while." To some kid who asked to use the restroom. This time I couldn't help myself as Wendy nudged me.

"But I don't want to." "You have to." "I don't fucking want to!" "Please?!" "Ugh! Fine!" I said and cleared my throat, readying my voice to be deep and powerful like Tiana's.

"Ain't got time for messing around,
And it's not my style.
This old town can bring you down,
People taking the easy way...
But I know exactly where I'm going,
And getting closer and closer, everyday!
And I'm almost there!
I'm almost there!
People down here think I'm crazy,
But I don't care.
Trials and tribulations,
Y'know I've had my share.
There ain't nothing gonna stop me now,
Cos I'm almost there!
I'm almost there!"

I ended powerfully and shut up. I didn't wanna do this. At lunch, we broke out in song cos some girl said "don't matter what you look like." And people turned to me.

"Don't matter what you look like.
Don't matter what you wear.
How many rings you got on your finger,
We don't care, no, we don't care!
Don't matter where you come from,
Don't even matter what you are!
A dog, a pig, a cow, a goat.
Had 'em all in here, yeah we had em all in here.
And they all knew what they wanted
What they wanted me to do.
I told 'em what they needed,
Just like I be telling you.
You gotta dig a little deeper!
Find out who you are.
Dig a little deeper!
It really ain't that far!
When you find out who you are
You'll find out what you need.
Blue skies and sunshine
Guaranteed."

I finished and sat my ass down. The other students kept dancing and singing, not even noticing I was sitting and done, eating my burger.

"Why do you even not want to sing? You've got a great voice." Stan asked. "I don't like people hearing my voice." I said. "Why not?" "I dunno. It's uncomfortable, the looks people give you when you sing in front of them." I said.

"But everyone knows you're one of the best singers in the school." Kyle said. "Yeah, that should count for something," Kenny said and squeezed my hand. "I know... It's still weird since I haven't been singing for a long time." I shrugged.

The rest of the day went on with interruptions from kids singing Disney songs, making me join on every fucking one of them. There were so many it was hard to keep track of every song.

The next day, I remained silent when they wanted me to sing, and I think they got the message.

Just shut the fuck up.
