In the two weeks of his absence, Yetunde missed Olarotimi and it was obvious, her mum saw it and told her to admit that she loved him but she wouldn't and the same thing was also happening to Olarotimi, he also missed Yetunde and couldn't wait to see her again.

Mercy: so this dinner , is it like a date?

Yetunde: no it's not, it's just what friends do

Shewa: then invite him to have dinner at your house

Yetunde: that's not funny

Grace: so it is a date

Mercy: just admit you like this guy ,I mean anyone would like him , he's money

Yetunde: but I don't okay, and stop saying he is money

Grace: but it's the truth, I mean he's stinkly rich

Shewa: stop making her love for him be because of money.

Yetunde: thank you

Mercy: so you love him , workaholic likes a guy, someone wake me up from this nightmare please

Grace: stop it Mercy, I think she really means it

Shewa: Yetunde do you love Olarotimi

Yetunde: I've tried not to, I mean he's charming, nice and a good gentleman and don't blame me for falling in love with him.

Mercy: so you actually love a guy and this guy actually exists, I'm so proud of you right now.

Yetunde: I thought you wanted the guy

Mercy: I did it for you ,I wanted you to be jealous and you were

Grace: so it's decided, the dinner is a date.

Yetunde: technically it's not, I don't think it is, I mean it's a dinner with the guy I love but I'm not sure he feels the same way about me

Shewa: well there's one way to find out

Yetunde: how

Shewa: tell him you met a guy who asked you out.

Yetunde: but no guy asked me out.

Mercy: don't be naive sweetheart.

Grace:try figuring this out before it gets too late to stop yourself from loving him, I've been there so I know that feeling, it's madness plus sadness.

Yetunde: I can't lie to him that's the worst , I will just wait for him if it's not I will stop myself from loving him .

Shewa: that's not a bad plan but it's totally the worst .

Yetunde: I can do this trust me, will you, I've gotten myself into this ,I can get myself out.

Mercy: good luck with that , ladies let's take a swim.

That night , Yetunde called Olarotimi.

Olarotimi: hi, how was spending the day with your friends?

Yetunde: it was fun, how is work?

Olarotimi: well I've been busy.

Yetunde: not too busy for me.

Olarotimi: yeah not too busy for you.

A heavy silence..........

Olarotimi: are you still there.

Yetunde: yes I am.

Olarotimi: if there's anything bothering you , you know you can always talk to me.

Yetunde: it's nothing, I just missed spending time with you.

Olarotimi: me too and I really missed you.

Yetunde: so when are you coming back.

Olarotimi: probably during the weekend,so our dinner is it still on?

Yetunde: is it a date?

Olarotimi: no it's not.

Yetunde: I'm glad you've cleared that up cause a guy asked me out today and I said yes, you've really lifted a big burden off my chest.

Olarotimi: you sound upset.

Yetunde: did you hear the part where I told a guy yes when he asked me out and we are going on a date tomorrow evening.

Olarotimi: yes I heard it but you didn't put that last part in the previous sentence.

Yetunde: did you really hear everything?

Olarotimi: you sound upset?

Yetunde: no I'm not

Olarotimi: yes you are, do you want to go on a date with me?

Yetunde: I've also said yes to a guy.

Olarotimi: let's go on a date Yetunde.

Yetunde: there is another guy who had asked me directly.

Olarotimi: you are still upset

Yetunde: yes I am with you, that's why I'm going out on a date with another guy.

Olarotimi: we both know there's no other guy except for me.

Yetunde: so it's a date ?

Olarotimi: yes it is

Yetunde: were you jealous?

Olarotimi: no I wasn't.

Yetunde: tell me the truth were you?

Olarotimi: I was for a little while until I figured out you said those things because you were upset, may I ask why you are?

Yetunde: no you may not.

Olarotimi: okay,so I guess I will be seeing you on Saturday

Yetunde: I guess so, bye good night.

Olarotimi: good night.

Then he hung up while Yetunde felt so happy as she laid on her bed with her hand on her hair smiling.

Two days later , she went shopping with her friends.

Mercy: I can't believe it's a date

Yetunde: well it is and I'm so excited for it

Grace: a rich man's date will be sumptuous so you have to look takeaway.

Shewa: well we've got a fashion designer in the house.

Yetunde: that's true but I just want to be me, I don't want him to think I'm doing this to impress him or give him the wrong idea about me, it's just a date between a man and a woman, keep it simple.

Mercy: will he keep it simple, I mean isn't what rich men do to flaunt their wealth in front of the ladies.

Yetunde: well, Olarotimi is different, not once has he tried to spell out he's rich and I love him for that
