RWBY Rosegarden Fanfic (RWBY Try out)

So I give you Chapter 3.5

AN: There are going to be mini chapters in my story, so I am going to call them .5 chapters. These are more or less going to be transitioning chapters. Sorry for the long mini chapter. Enjoy!

Qrow's POV

As soon as Oscar went down, everyone looked at each other with questioning glances. We were all confused by this sudden out burst, and really did not know what to say. But out of everyone there, Ruby was the most shaken up about this.

"Uncle Qrow?" I turned to see Ruby looking at Oscar, not averting her eyes when talking to me. "Is he going to be alright?" I sighed. Something was up, and what ever spooked the kid, clearly had something to do with me. I cannot forget how he looked at me. Scared. Angry. Hateful. I have only seen that look once, but it is one that I would not be too quickly to forget.

Flash back~

"What happened?" Ty came out of the house running. I was carring Summer Rose who laid all bloody in my arms.

"I- I dont know, Ty." It happened all so fast. "She wanted to see the sunrise over by the cliff in the woods." I looked down, shock still was settling in.

Flashback~ again ;)

Summer and I were sitting with our legs dangling over the ledge. The sun slowly climbed up the sky to share the glory of its warmth and the autumn colors to the world. It was cool out, but yet warm enough to go outside without a jacket on. We sat there in silence, listening to the music of the awakening forest around us.

"Isn't this great?" Summer spoke suddenly. Her voice was soft, almost like a whisper, that was carried off by the wind into the unknown beyond the mountains that boarded the horizon.

"Hm?" She did not respond. She looked longing out into the distance. 'Ty is so lucky' I thought to myself. I scooted myself closer to her, and caught a whiff of her hair. It smelled like... roses. I chuckled to myself as I watched the sun climb higher and higher into the morning sky.

"Do you think Ty would like it here?" Summer looked at me, and for a moment, I knew how lucky Ty was to find a girl like this.

"Yea, I think he would." And everything was good.

Or should have been...

End of Flash back~

I looked at Ty with sorrow. "The next thing I know, Grimm jumped out of nowhere and started to attack us. We were out numbered."

Flashback continues~

"SUMMER LOOK OUT!" I shouted. I grabbed my sword and slashed a Grimm in half. "Go, get to safety! I will take care of this."

"But-"

"No but! Go, NOW!!" She nodded and ran off. I fought Grimm after Grimm, but they kept pushing me backwards towards the edge of the cliff. I looked down, and looked at the Grimm that was running towards me. My footing got off, and I stumbled over the cliff, using my sword as the only thing from preventing me from becoming crow food. Suddenly, I heard a battle cry that I could not mistaken: It was Summer. She ran towards me, and pulled me up off of the edge. But as pulled myself up...

End of flashback~

 I sighed. "Everything went so fast, Ty. The next thing I knew, Summer... fell off the cliff." I could not look Ty in the eyes.

"... And you did not even try to save her." Against my better judgment, I looked at Ty. He was crying and had the face of someone who wanted to kill someone. "YOU DID NOT EVEN TRY TO HELP HER OUT!?!?"

"I did too! Do you not think I would go and try to save her if I could?!" I yelled back. Tears were now running down my face. Her screams are still fresh in my mind.

"Then what did you do huh? WHAT DID YOU TRY TO DO TO SAVE HER!?!"

"I-" I could not think of anything. I remember trying to grab her hand, but I was too late. Ty looked at me with hatred.

"That is what I thought. She risked her life to save you, and you, heartless, stone cold soul you are, did not even try to pay her back."

"I'M SORRY, OK!? IT WAS JUST REALLY BAD LUCK THAT THE GRIMM ATTACKED US THERE!" I shut my mouth but it was too late.

"Bad luck, huh." He turned to me. "You know, your right. It was bad luck. I wonder who brought 'bad luck' there." Then he turned and before waking away, he told me with a voice full of pain, hatred and coldness, "Dont you EVER come near me, or my family again." And then he walked off.

End of Flash back~

"Uncle Qrow" Ruby's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. She looked at me, and my heart felt like it was going to explode. It was the same look Summer gave me before going over. I chocked back on tears, knelt down to her, and sighed.

"I dont know, Ruby. But he needs his rest, as so do we. But he will be ok." I stood up, and walked away before any tears could run down.
