“How do you get up here?” I asked. It’s lunch time and we’re all up on the pipes. Brick and Butch still won’t tell us how they get up here. “Why do you care so much?” Butch countered. I growled when Princess screamed, “Liz, get down here!” I flew down and glared at her. “Don’t look at me like that; I just thought I should inform you that Adam and I are dating now.” I blinked, “Really? That’s great!” I flew back onto the pipes before she could reply. “Princess says she and Adam are dating, should we believe her?” Macey shook her head, “Let’s just watch and see. I don’t trust her.” The princes nodded, “Yeah besides, if he is, he’s probably just trying to rally you up. That, or make you think you safe so you’ll lower your guard.” Butch said. I nodded, “So we continue to watch out for him.” The rest of the day was as you’d expect. Princess hung onto Adam trying to make Brick jealous and Adam watched me and glared at both Brick and his ‘girlfriend’. Going to our ice cream shop after, we were laughing at Princesses patheticness when Adam walked over. “Hello Liz, I didn’t get a chance to talk to you properly earlier. I just wanted to say I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have treated you so badly, there’s no excuse for what I did. I loved you and I still do, so please give me another chance.” He looked at me with a pleading looked that made my heart melt. So I did the only thing I could do. No, I didn’t take him back, I’m not stupid. I’m actually surprised I had the courage to do it. I stood up, looked him in the eye, and shoved my ice cream in his face. Everyone was shocked into silence so I took the chance to speak. “No I will not give you another chance. I’m not stupid and I don’t have a death wish. I also don’t believe you loved me. If you did you wouldn’t have laid a hand on me. Good bye.” I spun around and flew off, torn between laughing at the look on his face and crying at what surely is to come.
