Chapter 24

Faiths POV:

Me and Tim planned on heading down to Louisiana. We wanted to visit since its been a long time. I planned this because I want Tim to get a chance to see his kids. I talked with Betty and she gave me Kristine's # so I can't text her about it. I've never met Kristine in person before and neither has she met me.

We finally arrived. Were in Louisiana. We rolled the windows down and let the Louisiana breeze blow. After about 30 minutes later, we arrive to Betty's house. We hope off the suburban and carry our bags inside. Betty rushes out and spreads her arms out so we can hug. She's the most sweetest lady you'll ever meet.

Betty: oh my gosh children its been long since I've seen yall oh how I missed you

We gathered with Betty and gave her a hug back. She hugged us tight but me and Tim didn't care. It felt good to be back in Louisiana. Last time I came here was long ago.

(Flashback)

Betty: Faith?? What are you doing here?? Where's Tim?? Everything alright.

Faith: Betty I can't find Tim I've called his phone, texted his phone, and I've even tried looking for him and asking his friends if they've seen him!

Betty: okay honey calm down what happened that Tim left

Faith: well I was in the studio listening to demos that came in. My producer Gary was telling me all about a benefit concert that I was asked to held that time Tim was going to pick me up

Betty: okay go on

Faith: Gary kissed me in front of Tim when he arrived and then Gary started touching my body parts

(Flashback over)

Betty: come inside I have tea and pie waiting to be eaten and drank

We walked inside and Tim had to go to the restroom. I peeked to see if he was gone. I turned back to Betty and smiled.

Betty: alright what's going on

Faith: Tim was telling me the other day before we came here that he has kids with Kristine

Betty: please don't tell me yall are getting a divorce cause of it

Faith: what!? No no not that! As I was saying, he was telling me all about how he had to leave

I started explaining everything that happened that day. Betty had a smile when I finished saying why we came here. But then it disappeared.

Faith: so what do you think

Betty: I saw that's a great thing Faith I'm pretty sure the kids would love to meet their father and you

Tims POV:

I walk out of the restroom an head back to the kitchen with ma and Faith. When I walked in Faith was already eating cake with tea. I walked behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. Faith jumped up and got kinda startled.

Tim: don't be scared it just me your sexy husband

Betty: haha yeah right

Tim: MA!!!! you don't think I'm sexy

Betty: Tim your my son calm down

Faith: haha your mom is funny

Betty: anyways Tim enjoy some pie

We all sat down and ate pie while we talked and caught up.

I heard the front floor open and voices fill the room. Me and Faith looked at each other and got up. We turned around and I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. We walked to the living room and a woman and 2 kids are there.

Betty: Tim um Kristine is here

Kristine: hey Tim um these are your kids right here
