Chapter 30

Thanksgiving.....

Tims pov:

Today is thanksgiving. Were all excited for today. Ma and kristine are coming to Nashville so they can spend it with us.

Me and Faith woke up at 7a.m. and we started getting all the ingredients out. We served ourselves a cup of coffee and got us a doughnut.

Faith: today is gonna be a long busy day

Tim: agree

Faith: so we have the turkey ready and now we have to make..

Tim: shit loads of deserts

Faith: no because your mom and Kristine are bringing some pumpkin and Pecan pies

Tim: mom sure does know her son

Faith: yeah and I know what my husband likes later at night for desert

Tim: you sure do

I gave Faith a kiss. It was kiss after kiss after kiss. We both laughed and finally got to cooking. As we were cooking we hear footsteps from the stairs. Me and Faith looked at each other and widen our eyes.

Tim: I'll go and pick breakfast us so they can eat.

Faith: there's money in my wallet

Tim: don't worry I have some

Faith: gosh fine then

Rayna: morning guys

Tim/Faith: morning

Tim: where's Caleb

Rayna: restroom

Tim: okay well I'm gonna go grab breakfast wanna come

Rayna: sure

I grabbed my keys and phone and made sure I had my money. We walked out of the kitchen and met with Caleb.

Caleb: where y'all going?

Tim: were going to get breakfast for everybody

Rayna: wanna go or you going to stay

Caleb: ill stay with Faith

I grabbed a coat and another for Rayna. We walked out to the garage and hopped on the Suburban. I turned the radio on and we jammed out to music.

Faiths POV:

I was in the kitchen setting the turkey in the stove when Caleb walks in. I close the stove and turn the temperature to 400°. I wipe my hands on my apron and looks at Caleb.

Faith: morning Caleb

Caleb: um-uh morning Faith

Faith: you don't have to be nervous around me Caleb its alright

Caleb: so whos gonna come over

Faith: I'm pretty sure your dad invited some friends over

Caleb: oh okay

Caleb doesn't know that Betty and Kristine are coming over. In fact, Rayna doesn't know either. I turned back to the cabinets and got all the veggie cans out. I had cans of veggies and a few of cranberry sauce. I was walking over to the table when some can fall.

Faith: dam it!

Caleb: I got it don't worry

As Caleb picked them up he placed them in the table. I smiled and said thank you to him. He sat on a barstool and watched what I did.

After I finished cooking the veggies and everything else I started on the stuffing. It took a while till Tim and Rayna came back. I was cutting bell peppers when my phone rings.

Faith: Caleb, sweeties can you get that please and put it on speaker?

Caleb: um sure

(Phone)

Faith: hello?

Tim: hey baby

Faith: hey babe what's taking long

Tim: um nothing is open for breakfast so were heading back but there is a lot of traffic cause several accidents happened

Faith: oh okay babe its alright I have everything under control

Caleb: I'll help her dad. Don't worry she has me too help
