Faiths POV:

I was star stuck. Did I hear wrong that Kristine said she wants Tim to have full custody of her kids. I turn to Tim and I see the joy in his eyes but I feel him tense up.

Tim: you do?

Kristine: yes. I acted like a bitch when I told you to leave. I see your happy and with Faith so I want the kids to have you and her as her parents.

What is she trying to say. I've heard this talk before. I I dont know remember from where. But it ends up having bad news at the end.

Tim: Kristine what are you trying to say

Kristine: I have cancer and doctor says I have little time

Faith: Kristine I'm so sorry

Tim: how long

Kristine less and 2 months maybe one month weeks days hours minutes maybe even seconds.

I see Tim has sadness in his eyes. I understand I mean Kristine was his wife he deserves to support her. I have millions if things running through my head.

We talked some more about her cancer and we hear the patio door slide open. We all turn and see Rayna and Caleb. The come out and join us.

Rayna: hey mom

Kristine: hey baby girl

Caleb: so 'dad' tell us about yourself

Tim: like what

Rayna: what's your favorite sport and your hobbies all that stuff

Its cute how Tims kids want to get to k ow him better. I bought a smile to my face. Seeing the moments that were happening.

Tim: I love playing football

Faith/Kristine: you sure do

I looked at Kristine and we laughed at out comment. We turned back to Tim and the kids.

Tim: my hobbies is making music with Faith cooking meals and just make people happy

Faith: that's a true fact

Tim was telling all the stuff the kids wanted to know. He was laughing and it made me smile wide. I looked at Kristine and she was feeling down.

Faith: Kristine can we go for a walk just us too so we can know each other more.

Tims POV:

Faith and Kristine went for a walk and it left me and the kids. I was laughing at the memories they shared with me. I noticed that the kids won't be able to have Kristine in their lives any time soon.

Rayna: dad do you miss mom

Tim: Kristine?

She nods.

Tim: I don't know how to answer that question

Rayna: it won't hurt my feelings

Caleb: we can take the truth

Tim: I do not miss your mom

Rayna: why

Tim: I love Faith. I never thought about your mom since we divorced. And I still don't miss her even though I'm in the same country, same state, same county, same town and same house.

Caleb: dad I want to be a football player

Tim: I wanted to be a football player too but then I studied to be a lawyer and I didn't like now look at me.

Rayna: I am not thinking of my future

Tim: how come

Rayna: I want to take  little steps at a time

Caleb: why is mom feeling down

Tim: kids she has cancer like your grandpa Tug did

It hurt me telling them this. Rayna broke down and patted the seat next to me and held her in my arms. Caleb was fighting not to cry. I patted the seat next to me on my right and he came. He broke down and I held both in my arms.

Tim: going to be okay

Rayna: can we leave to Tennessee with you dad please

Caleb: what about mom

Faith: TIM!!! TIM!!!

I turned and saw Faith dragging Kristine. I got up and rushed to her.
