I want this, I want this, and I most definitely want this.
I was picking up everything I didn't need. And I didn't see a problem because I wasn't paying for it. Boog had all the cash and he couldn't say no.
I made sure I had a decent amount of clothes, some comfortable shoes and some for a night out. My job was going to be very versatile.
I had meetings to attend, parties, and I also was able to take trips to wherever Killa went.
The woman scanned up everything and of course it came up to over five grand but like I I said, I didn't have to touch a thing.
I've never splurged like this and I knew there was probably a price to all this, but I'm gonna enjoy this shit while it lasts.
"Damn," Boog smacked his lips and pulled out a black card, swiping it and typing the pin in. "Where else you gotta go?"
"Mmm." I hummed trying to think of another place I can go.
I didn't need anything else but hell, I didn't wanna go back to K's house and forget something.
It was a good thing I got a phone, just sitting in that room with nothing to do was gone drive me crazy. I also needed to disclose some things with my mama.
"Mmm," Boog hummed, grabbing my bags from the cash register. "I only got two hands, can you help a nigga out?"
I grabbed the bags and gave him a fake grin. "You're welcome,"
"Yeah, thanks," he spoke in a harsh tone. "Do you need to go anywhere else? I gotta get you back to the house,"
"What you in a rush for? I raised an eyebrow and averted my gaze toward him.
"Gotta get you back to the house. Killa got a meeting," He looked over to me for a brief second,
"What's he do?" I questioned, hoping I'd get an answer out of him.
"A lot of shit," Boog scoffed. "He owns a tech company, a record label, and he got a clothing line. Man is worth billions of dollars,"
I was stunned, the assistant to a billionaire. I wonder how much I'd be making just for standing alongside him.
I had more than enough questions and half of them will go unanswered.
"And what do you do?"
"Mind my fuckin' business," he scoffed and began to chuckle.
"I'm really sick of yo' smart ass mouth. Always got some shit to say," I rolled my eyes and sped up in front of him.
My hands were full of bags and so were his. I smelled the pretzels in the air and couldn't help but stop.
I hadn't ate all day and I know Auntie Annie's wasn't a meal but those cinnamon bites were calling my name.
"Ooh, can we get some pretzels?" I stopped in my tracks and looked over to the short line.
"No, come on," he scolded and I just shook my head and stood still.
"Iris," he turned around and gave me a stern stare. "If you don't bring yo' ass on, I swear to God,"
"You swear to God what? It's a fuckin' pretzel," I scoffed and his facial expression remained the same.
"I don't give a damn, come on. We can stop for food when we get back to Killa's,"
"I ain't going nowhere witchu," I challenged him.
"You tripping, you don't have a choice babygirl," he chuckled softly. "Now come on,"
"Nope," I said looking over at the hotdog pretzels spinning on the wheel.
This was probably God telling me I didn't need them. But in this moment I needed something good coming out of my day.
"I'm finna call Killa, you acting like a kid," He sat the bags down and pulled his phone out his jacket pocket.
"Call 'em," I shrugged my shoulders.
I heard the phone begin to ring, it sounded like he was calling him on FaceTime.
"Talk to me," I heard Killa's deep and chilling voice speak.
"Better get yo' little pet, she being hardheaded," he flipped the camera.
"I'm not nobodies pet, fuck both of y'all," I mumbled the last part.
"The fuck Boog," he exhaled and I just slowly stepped over to Auntie Anne's.
"She mad cause I ain't letting her get no pretzels and she know we on a tight schedule," he said into the phone. "Iris you move one more step towards that f—,"
"Get the bitch her pretzels and come to the house. Don't call me on that bullshit again Boog, you should know that,"
I saw him swallow his pride and I didn't bother holding in my laugh. He picked the bags up and followed behind me.
"The fuck is you laughing at?"
"You got in trouble," I pushed my lips out and twisted them around.
"Everything a joke to you, a fucking child man," he shook his head and I just shrugged my shoulders.
I could care less how he viewed me. This nigga got his freedom, he can leave whenever, and do what the hell he wants.
And what the fuck did I have? Some childish ass thoughts and some pretzels, He better get used to it cause it seems like we'll be spending a lot of time together.
I couldn't help that I was goofy it was my way of coping.
The cashier greeted us and I ordered some cinnamon bites and a frozen lemonade. I couldn't wait to indulge in all this fat shit.
"You happy now?" He scorned, and grabbed one of the pretzels from my cup.
"Hell nah after you just did that," I scrunched my face up in disgust. "Didn't nobody tell you to touch my shit,"
"I don't answer to you,"
"Ain't gotta answer to me, I don't give a fuck. But don't touch my food, ever," I scolded him like he was my child.
"Yeah aight," he said throwing it in his mouth. "Mm, this shit good. Can I get another one?"
"Now you wanna ask,"
