His voice was always confusing to you. He always put on this crazed voice but you knew it wasn't real.

He'd come home and right when his minions left the room his voice changed, like two different people. It was caring and slightly scratchy after hiding it for so long.

"Why do you do that" you asked softly.

"Do what darling" he said in his signature Joker voice.

"The voice?" You giggled lightly.

"Do you not like it?" His tone changed and out came his real shy voice. He always wanted validation, with anything he did.

"Jack, when your with me can you promise me something" you said wrapping a hand around his wrist.

"Anything" he mumbled, pushing strands of green hair out of his face.

"Always be you...  be Jack around me. I'm in love with Jack not the Joker" you said shyly not quite sure how he would respond.

"Of course darling" he smiled speaking in his Joker tone.

"That includes the voice" you laughed as you slightly punched his shoulder.

"Aww come on you like it"

"I really don't" you laughed half serious.

"Fine"
