...And misses, it lands in the wall, as Belt dodges it. You focus your aim.
"On the run from us for almost a year now, and now you decide to fight? You must be the most pathetically luckiest man alive. Finding the pussy and keeping it all to yourself? We want to save the world too!"
You stand there frozen. He shoots again, resulting in another miss.
"We'll leave you alone and let you live if you give the bitch to us."
"No." You can hear the anger in Belt's voice.
"He's mine!" You scream. The Ludd guy finally notices you, holding your gun. "Is that a desert eagle?" he asks you. "ANSWER ME CUNT! IS THA-" You shoot him square in the head.
You feel like you did a terrible thing, but you didn't pay too much mind to it."Thanks, Y/N. I believe, this is yours now." He said with a warm, hopeful smile. He gives you the AK+47 and picks up the body, and throws it out the window. You hold it between your arms as you crack your figures. Fingers no longer stiff, after that satisfying cracking, you face him.
"I warned you didn't I? Find yourself a little sack, or belt or something to cary that stuff. We have one hellova battle ahead of us.""He's mine." plays throughout your head again. Two days ago, you only saw him as a friend, now he's going to be a father of your future children, if things pan out.
He is quite a strange man, but, he's stronger than anyone you know."The battle has begun.. They have found us.." You notice a certain fire in his eyes, the fire of rage..
"You need to find a bag for those guns of yours, you can carry the AK on your back, there's a strap in that. Wear it." He says, as he pulled the strap over you. He gently rubs your back after so.
An aroma of gunpowder and metal comes over you. It was rather mute, but it gives you a sense of courage. You also notice he's smiling at you, yet, his eyes are full of fear and melancholy.
"Let's find you a bag, and get out of here. At least we had a good night, right?"
"Yeah."
"How are you feeling by the way? If you start getting scared, I'm right here. I've kicked a lot of ass, and don't forget I took down a couple of the dominant gangs in the backwater. We will get through this. No worries." He gives you an uncertain smile. You spot something on the rack and pick it up. A sack, perfect size for the eagles. They clanked and clacked as you put them over your shoulder, and you put the bullets in the sack too.
The sound of engines approaching in the distance hummed like a cat's contempt purr. It was hardly noticeable at first. But you could sense them as they draw closer.
You slip on your pants, and gather the soap and the bedding from the bed."We're going to find a place to fight. This cabin would be a death trap if we were to stay quickly, thank-"
"Duh! We need to get out of here before they set this place on fire." You interrupt him.
"It seems like you have experienced something like this before." As you two exit the cabin, you see a bit of concern and sadness in his eyes. You remember one of your hideouts being burned by the Lovelies, and almost being trapped, while trying to make yourself unknown by them. Fortunately there was a sewer to escape to, but that was tricky within itself. You believed the leader spotted you though, but oddly enough, no one went after you...The gray morning sky looked dark and dreary out the window, as you glanced out it for the last time, as you two left.
Out the cabin in a moment, you two run through the gray grasslands a little ways.. You felt ice crunch under your feet, and realize that it's gone increasingly colder than before.
Belt vanished within the tall grass after a short and abrupt cry and a thud. In a panicked moment, you turned around.
Upon investigation, you realize that he's on a large pool of slick ice. Glad it was only that, than something worse. You pull him out of it and keep going.
Looking back, you saw the cabin, hidden behind the trees, looking like a lonesome brown dot on the horizon."Now!" He yells after a moment. There is a patch of really tall grass, surrounding the remnants of a stone building. "Let's hide here." He goes behind one of the walls, and you follow. There was a small pool of ash behind it, and leftover sticks and charcoal strewn thoroughout the decayed remnants of this building. He picks up the left over sticks and starts with whatever is left.
"Hungry? You should eat." He said. He grabbed a can of soup and opened it and placed it into the fire. While looking around, you notice it was beginning to snow.
"Only plausible isn't it? She is a variant of the element water, one of the silent killers.. To aid or to kill us? That's indefinite.. But I have a pretty big clue of what's next for us." He gives you a little smirk.
"The hottest sex of our lives. If we live or die, that is to be determined with fate, but I think we have a high chance of living this.. A high chance of you living this. I'm not sure of what she has in store for me, but I hope it's to be by your side until the end of time."
You remember your dream, and what Five had told you. As speechless as you are, you still feel hope. Whoever this "Lady Fate" is, you hope she will let you carry on new generations, and live with the man you love until the end of time.
"I hope we have a future too. Not sure of what's going to happen next, but hopefully we become the first biological family since the flash."He takes the can of soup out of the fire using two metal rods he found, and put the steaming can, with the label burned off, in a patch of cold, icy wet grass. Once cooled, he grabs it, using his jacket sleeve and takes a drink out of it, and passes it to you.
You two share it, as the snowfall starts to grow heavier. As he let you have the last of it, he began to check his duffel bag, bullet supply, and loaded his guns. He was deep in thought as he did so, almost trying to figure out what to say. You check behind the wall, the viability was low.. You were no longer able to see the cabin nor the hills anymore.
You begin to grow melancholy, "I hope I didn't waste your time."
"Why do you say that?" He asks, putting one of his assault rifles down. "If they don't kill us, the snow will." You reply. Throughout the days you have noticed the subtle, yet drastic temperature change. You remember the girls telling you about end-times, and how they were going to happen, but they never mentioned it would be like this.. He stayed quiet as your mind wandered.
"There is something I've been wanting to do with you Belt if you were up to it.."
"Huh? What is it?"
"Mind if we cuddle like we did, last night?" He looks up at you, and smiles.
You sit down next to him, and get cozy as you curl your body close to his. He wraps his arm around you, reaking like gunpowder and metal. "Check your guns. We have one hell of a battle ahead, and I want to make sure you have ammo."
You gently kiss his neck as he tells you so. He blushes, and gives you a giant, shy smile.
"Here, let me show you how to load it." He gently strokes your hand, as you pull the guns and the bullets out of the small sack. He releases a trigger, and pulls the top part of the gun forward.
There you see it was partially loaded, only two bullets used out of it. "Now, the other one.." The other one wasn't touched at all.
