There is hope

It was almost evening, as you the position of the sun in the darkening sky. Your surroundings are different from the cave, seemingly moments beforehand. A pale and tired, yet familiar face meets yours with a smile. "Hey.. Sleeping beauty has finally awaken.." He giggles. Your head was a little fuzzy, but you reply to Belt's warmness with a smile.
You were wrapped up in your own blankets, as you feel the gentle rocking of the car you have found yourself in..

The scenery, still snowy, outside the window, looked like the outskirts of a city.. A new city you don't recognize, larger than the one you two were in beforehand.

"We're now entering Alpha. There is a still functioning medical ward here, and places to live. Heard there's women here too, but if you guys want to reside in the wilderness for the rest of your lives, that would be pretty cool too." The driver said. It was the same driver than before.

"Oh and also, it wasn't just your fight, Benny. Their gangs and ours had some beef, because my predecessor was assassinated by one of their men. Wish you would have told us about Five sooner. It is a crime to kill one of the last women, they shouldn't have been let off easy y'kno."

"Thanks Tex. Also, thank you for helping me waste those assholes."

"No problemo."

Belt wraps his arms around you, and rubs the back of your head.

"How are you feeling?" he asks, with a gentle smile.

"Kinda in there.. My head hurts like a bitch.."

"Same here.. After we recover, how about I..." He smiles. "I..."

"You....?"

"I.....?!" He gives you an even larger smile.

"You...?!"

"I teach you how to fight. How does that sound?" You give him a little laugh.

"Sounds amazing." You reply. You were expecting something else but learning how to fight sounded a lot better.
