A little fire was setting up, using a small dead tree, and some prairie grasses, he caused warmth to return to you two.
"What a major disappointment." He laughed. "I thought we were going to fight major armies, not mere pathetic wimps." He pauses, and looks outside of the little cave. You can see the snow flying down in his dark eyes, as the fire light illuminated his slim, skeletal face. His natural black hair illuminated in the light, lazily laying over his injured left eye.
"Perhaps, I'm happy that they got lost in the storm. Perhaps, we could loose them for good and live a life of peace, in the new world that we'll create." You smile warmly to him.
You think about the dream you had the other night, Five and that other girl talking about that war, what war? You're sure that these men have died already.
You lay down. You're extremely tired from all of that running. His warm hand strokes your back, and he follows you into a spoon..
The cold... The crisp light sound of the snow falling, and the flicker on the caves wall of the flame.. Such a relaxing aura, especially with your favorite man by your side.. All this warm and comfort, you wished for nothing else..
And soon, it was gone, and the cold returned.
As you faded back into the cold morning sunlight, something felt off.
