Chapter 6

A few months later...

Today is the day, I get to find out what I am having. I am so excited. I could be having a girl or a boy.

I get up and go get my shower and then dried off and changed into a periwinkle maternity dress and white flats. I then eat something and then brush my teeth.

I walk to the couch, because my back and feet hurt. I know it is only gets worse until I have him/her. I am graduating with Cheyenne and Van. This year is my last year of high school,
Hallelujah!

So for now, I have been going to school everyday, dealing with people.

But, I have to tell you a funny story, so I just returned to school from having morning sickness. It was lunch time and the smell was awful.

Ayden comes over and being his jerky self and out of nowhere, I vomit on him because I smelled this terrible smell. He stood there speechless. "I am so sorry, the baby has a mind of it's own." I say sweetly. Then he screams and runs out. I laugh so hard I almost pee myself.

Now, back to reality, me and Cheyenne are ready and just waiting for mom. Van is coming with us. "Hey, what if we both have girls or boys?" She says curious. "That would be so cool. They could play with each other and be best friends." I say excited.

Mom comes out and says, "are you guys ready?" "Yeah, we are." Cheyenne says. We get into the car and drive off. We get there in time. Cheyenne goes in first and I wait patiently for my turn. Me and Cheyenne are going to have our baby shower together.

Mom says it supposed to be on Saturday. There have been rumors at school about me and my child. But I ignore it because it is something stupid.

I already know what I want to name my child if it is a he or a she. I see Cheyenne and Van come out and they are so excited. It makes me happy knowing they are excited for their child to be here.

The nurse called me and we go into the room where mom is. The nurse does the check up and she says that, the doctor will be here shortly. I sit and wait, I see mom so excited.

Everyone is excited, but one person, Ayden. But, I know he will be in his or her life. The doctor comes in and discussed a few things and then puts the gel on me, it was so cold.

She does the ultrasound and says, "I know what you are having. Do you want to know?" "Yes, please." I say. "You are having a....girl."

Oh my gosh, I am having a daughter. That is so cool. I can see the smile on mom's face. I wipe the gel of me and get organized. The doctor gives me, my picture of my daughter.

We all walk out and see Cheyenne and Van. "So, what are you having?" She asked. "Say, hello to your niece." I say as I hold up my picture. She was over the moon. They both were. "So, what are you having?" I asked. "Better get ready, because there will be two girls to chase after." "Oh my gosh, you are having a daughter too." I say surprised.

We got into the car and full of excitement. "So, are you happy about how the appointment went today?" Mom asked. "Are you kidding We are so excited." We both said. "That's good." She said.

I was such full of excitement that I had to call Ayden. I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up. "Hello?" "Hello, This is Gracelyn." "What do you want?" He said with disgust. "I wanted to tell you, that I am having a girl." "Oh ah, why did you wanted to tell me?"

"Because even though, you don't want to be in her life, I thought that you should know, you are her father after all." "I am glad you told me. Can we talk some time Saturday?" "Sure, just text me where to meet and we can discuss it." "Okay,Bye." And we hung up.

"I think that is a very good thing you did, Gracelyn." Mom said. "Thanks, mom." "I think so, too." "Thanks, Cheyenne." We got home and eat lunch. Then, changed into pj's and watched a movie for the rest of the night.
