That day is still one of the best I've ever had.
Thinking about how enjoyable it was, even if I didn't really do much, makes me wish that all of my birthdays had been like it. The feeling of just celebrating with some good friends was one that I'd never really experienced before.
We didn't do much for Lusius's birthday, really. He said that spending time with me on mine was all that mattered to him. Lu's so sweet.
Me and Fox have been meeting up a bit more often again. We're learning a lot from each other. Knowing how to fly an Arwing, which was one of the first things he taught me, has come in handy at least once (which you'll find out about in the next story I write). Not to mention that I think Fox is a pretty cool guy in general, and I just like to see him.
As to Sonic... I've only seen him a couple times since this all happened in June (it's now late December, and Christmas break is just starting), and most of them were on serious terms because Eggman just doesn't give up. I promised him that I'd stay for a while in the summer ("summer" being somewhere around mid-April since I get out of school early and the weather heats up fast), and I'm planning to bring Luke and Lusius with me. It should be fun.
Speaking of Sonic... that's him now... I promised him I'd come down for Christmas. I guess now's a good time to get ready to go.
