Year 1 Chapter 6 - A Not-So-Secret Admirer

Keen looked at me and smirked as I glared at him. He was so annoying. Anyways, Professor Flitwick was teaching us Wingardium Leviosa. Which I already knew. Keen apparently didn't know that, so he tried to show off by doing it to a feather. The feather stayed in the air for three seconds, then came back down. I smirked as I saw his embarrassed face. Now it was my turn. After Professor Flickswitch stopped explaining the charm, I knew it was time. Keen has a heavy binder that follows him everywhere. It only follows him when told to. When I saw it in front of him, I took out my wand and said "Wingardium Leviosa!" and the binder came floating into the air in front of me. As I started guiding it with my wand, I realized that everyone in the class was staring at me. Then, I put the binder down and said "Sorry..."

"No no! That was brilliant!" said Leo, as everyone got back to work. I blushed a little, looking at his dark brown, perfect hair. He started blushing too.

Apparently, Keen saw and said, "Get back to work you dope!" He was talking to Leo. Then he smirked and made me turn towards him. He was blushing so hard, that his cheeks were red.

"What do you want Keen?" I said as I started to do some class work. At the corner of my eye, I saw Leo looking kind of sad, but Keen made me keep my focus on him. "Oh, nothing much!" He said eyeing Leo. I had now started to get upset as I saw Leo glaring at Keen.

"Stop it!" I said getting frustrated. Then my eyes started to burn. I don't know why, but instinctively, I opened my mouth to show my teeth. Then my mouth started hurting too. I closed both my eyes and mouth, feeling pain run down my spine. My head started to hurt too. And before I knew it, I was knocked out with blackness covering me. The last thing I heard was a faint "LEAH!"

Year 1 Chapter 7 - Snakes' Blood

What seems like a few seconds ago became a week ago. I was slowly getting up and looking around. I was in the Hospital Wing, and there were lots of gifts in front of me. I was super dizzy, but I tried to stay sitting up. A few seconds later Snowy came over.

"LEAH!" she said flying over to cuddle with me. "I'm so glad you're okay!"

"W-what happened? Why am I here Snowy?"

"I'll tell you everything later! You're going to have a visitor!" Then she flew up to the side table beside me and landed gracefully as someone came in.

"Leah! You're awake!" It was Leo coming to say hi to me. I was still a little dizzy, but I was able to make out his face and hair.

"L-Leo?" I asked confused.

"Yes, it's me, Leah!"

"Leo! What happened?"

"Um...you've been unconscious for a week now..."

"W-what? What are you talking about? It's only been a few hours right?"

"No, Leah. I'm telling the truth." He now sat on my bed and was holding my hand. I then looked at Snowy who was nodding but didn't say anything. "Tell me what happened before you passed out!" He started to get serious.

"Well...I was getting upset that Keen was making you sad..." I then paused and squeezed his hand a little. "Then, I started to get mad, and that's when my eyes started to hurt...and then my face..." I now started to cry a little. "T-then, my hole badly started to hurt. That's when I was feeling faint. After that, my head started to hurt really badly...and a few seconds later, I was in complete darkness."

"Don't worry. I'm here now." Leo said as he leaned over and lightly kissed my forehead. Then he started to leave.

"Where are you going?" I asked.
