Prologue

You've all heard of the tale of Atlantis right? No? Ok lets me let you then.

Once upon a time. What? Every story has to start with 'Once upon a time.'

So. Once upon a time there was an Island called Atlantis.

One day the island was attacked by the rest of the world because Atlantis was in possession of some of the most high-tech equipment in the world. The rest of the world didn't trust Atlantis with it so they thought that they better take it from them.

So the rest of the world attacked Atlantis. There was a lot of death and gore. I won't go into to much detail about all that. I will talk about one death in particular. The queen's. She was the last Atlantean to be killed.

The second the king realized that his beloved wife had died in the fight. He instantly ordered the one of his top guards to put up the barrier. Remember how I mentioned there high-tech stuff. Yeah this is on of the things. It's basically a barrier that can keep out anything.

Once the barrier was up the rest of the world thought it was pointless to keep attacking so they eventually gave up and went back to their own counties. Once everyone had flied Atlantis except the Atlanteans. The island slowly started to sink out of existence. So no one remembers that it ever existed.

A month later the king was told that if he didn't remarry and have another kid of royal blood he would loss the throne. Of course he already had a son who was around one at the time of his mothers death. Not prepared to loss the throne the king quickly remarried and not long after she gave birth to there baby girl.

But enough with this longish back story time to skip forward to the present.

Hope you all enjoyed this prologue. It's not that long but I think it was necessary for the story. How we feel about this being my new book?
