Chapter 16 - Going back?

~Later that night~

-Rob's POV-

My eye's shot open, instantly meeting the ceiling. I let out small huff of air before rolling over on my side and trying to go back to sleep.

But of course I couldn't go back to sleep. I decided to get up and go for a small walk around the apartment. I slipped out of me and Abi's room carefully trying my best not to wake her.

Once I made it into the living room I would've plopped down on the couch and watched TV but I couldn't. Add had decided to let us stay for at least one more night, so she had slept on the couch.

Cause I couldn't do that I thought I should just get a glass of water but as it turns out Eye was already in there.

"Hi." She said quietly as I entered the kitchen.

"Hi." I moped.

"What's up?"

"It's just the fact that Abi told you something today." I answered as I buried my head in the fridge to avoid eye contact.

"Rob it's fine, I won't tell anyone." I nodded in response.

"Have you ever just wanted to see someone twenty four seven?" I asked out of nowhere.

"Kinda. Why do you ask?" She said taking another sip from her water bottle that she had in her hand.

"That's just how I feel."

"Do ya want to go get some fresh air?" She asked me letting go of her bottle and standing up properly.

I didn't answer her and I didn't have to cause she grabbed a hold of my wrist and pulled me in to the living room and then out into the alleyway.

"Follow me." Was all she said when we got outside. She then began to scale one of the buildings, I decided to follow her. 'It's not like I have anything better to do anyway' I thought as I began to climb.

Once I was near the top I felt a hand wrap around my wrist and pull me the rest of the way up.

Once I was actually up on the roof the view was incredible. You could see the whole town from up here.

"Wow." Was all the words I could put it into.

"I know right."

"You can even see the sea creatures out in the ocean form up here." I was astonished.

Eye sat down and patted the ground next to her and I came over to join her. We were sitting on the edge of the building with out feet dangling over the edge.

"You know Add would kill me if she knew I was up her."

"Yeah and she'd probably push me off for bringing you up her." Eye laughed.

"Yeah." I was staring at the view as we talked.

"You know I've never showed this to anyone." Eye told me.

"Well, I'm honored."

"Sooooo." Eye said as she put her hands back behind her so she was propped up by them. "This Preston guy sounds nice, how do you know him?" Eye asked raising one of her eyebrows.

"Oh, he is great, he works at the castle, he's me and Abi's personal attendant."

"Cool, so do you think he likes you back?"

"I don't know." I moaned, lying flat on my back and letting out a huff of air.

"Oh." Eye said softly, coping my position. "But maybe you could find out." Eye continued.

"How?" I don't think I could I mean we've been gone for around two weeks now.

"Why don't you just go back and ask him?"

"Eye. It's not that simple, I wish it was."

"I know someone." Someone said. Eye jerked up and narrowed her eyes looking around.

Just then someone jumped up onto the building and waved. Sitting up in a slight panic. I looked up at Eye who didn't seem fazed.

"MO!" Eye yelled running up to the mysterious figure and hugging them. "Oh, Mo this is Rob." Eye told the person when she finished hugging them. "Rob this is Mo."

I gave them a small wave and Mo just smiled at me.

"The Prince, I know who he is." Mo said. Taking her hood off I could finally tell that she was a she. She sent chills down my back when she spoke.

"H-h-h-hi." I was still shocked. "I think I'll just go back inside now." I said waving at Eye and trying to make my way off the roof.

"WAIT!" Mo yelled, making me freeze in place as another set of chills rocketed up my spine. "I mean, this guy is very special to you, No?" Mo asked raising an eyebrow.

"N-n-n-nah." Damn I have to stutter when I lie don't I.

All Mo did was smile.

Eye finally interrupted the staring contest with. "Mo, you said you knew someone?"

"Uh, yeah." She said taking her eyes off mine and looking at Eye. "I know him, I can set something up." Mo smiled suspiciously but Eye didn't seem to notice.

"That would be great!" Eye said excitedly. Mo seemed shifty.

"Great, I'll see you here in three days." Mo said before jumping off the roof and out of eyesight.

I just sat down on the grave that covered the roof, to try and process what just happened.
