Jason woke up with a minor headache, reeking of beer. He groaned as he rolled himself out of bed. "Damn." He opened his laptop and began a search for other potential targets. "By the time I finish my shower, you'll be done."

Wayne Manor
Helena sprung up like she did every morning. "I beat the alarm again." She yawned moments before the beeping of her alarm sung. "I wonder what today has in store for me."

Downstairs, Alfred and Selina were making breakfast.

"You know Lady Selina, this is my job."

"You remind me every day, Alfred." She smiled. "I don't see you as a butler and neither does Bruce. You're family; his surrogate father, the kids' grandfather, and a good mentor and friend."

"Thank you." He chirped. "I still love doing this. Speaking about being a father, I wonder how Julia is doing."

"You should give her a call." She suggested. "I'm sure your daughter would be happy to hear your voice."

"She's out traveling the world." He replied. "Always changing her number to make sure she's not tracked. She did send a postcard the other day; France. She promised to drop by soon."

"I'm sure everyone would love it when she comes."

Helena entered the kitchen and made her way to the fridge. "Good morning."

"Hey, Miss Helena." He smiled.

"Did you sleep well, kitten?"

"That I did mom." She replied. She grabbed a bottle of refrigerated milk. "Did you sleep okay?"

Selina smiled at her daughter. "You know it. Aside from your dad coming in late and his occasional turns, it was peaceful."

Damian walked down into the kitchen, filled with sweat. "Good morning."

"Who are you and what have you done to my brother?" Helena growled.

"Calm down, Helena." He frowned. "I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep so I trained."

"And the good morning? You usually choose not to exert that little effort and energy to use for something else, so explain that." She challenged.

"There's nothing to explain." He frowned. "I'm just trying something different."

"Look at you two, always fighting over manners." Selina laughed. She pulled them in for a quick hug. "Set the table, Alfred made pancakes and I made waffles."

Jason's Apartment
"Looks like once I'm done here, I'll be heading to Star City." He smiled as he flipped on the television.

"Sources say that The Red Hood is back in Gotham. We don't know why he is here or how long he will be staying but we can only hope that he's not making a big mess." The blonde reporter stated. "He has worked with The Dark Knight before and rumor has it that he originated from here."

"Great, Vicky just had to make my stay public!" He groaned. "No matter, I'll get the job done and be on my way. ThornWood Inc. has to be shut down."

"This is Vicky Vale, reporting from The Gotham Gazette."

Jason checked the fridge for anything worth eating. "I pay someone to keep fresh food in the fridge and then they don't. They probably figure I would not be coming at any point in time." He groaned as he slammed the fridge door. "I guess I'll buy a cup of coffee and have some waffles from Pauli's Diner."

Vzzzzt Vzzzzt!

He quickly scooped up his cell to check the message.
