The dark skies were joined by the iconic bat signal projection. Alerted, the Wayne family made their way to the cave.
"It's time to let the kitten out of the cage." Helena beamed.
"Someone is excited," Damian remarked. "I've never seen someone so excited about crime in Gotham."
"Can you blame me?" She inquired as she stood by the batcomputer. "Tonight is going to be my first night out!"
"Yes, your excitement is expected but it's also dangerous so please don't be too eager, okay?" Selina gave her an encouraging smile. "Just keep up with us."
"You're going on the mission too?" She questioned.
"Of course! Wouldn't miss my baby's first mission."
"Got the exact location." Bruce voiced. "We have a jewel robbery on our hands. I'm not certain if this is Renegade but it could be. They use guns so if it is them, Helena, you will fall back and observe."
"Dad, I don't want to be sidelined for my first mission!"
"You may be quick but you're not as fast as a bullet." He reasoned.
"If it gets too dangerous, I'll stay close and protect her," Damian spoke up.
He nodded and smiled. "Okay. The next thing is our code names. We are strictly our code names out there."
"Got it!"
"Suit up!" He commanded.
A smile appeared on her face as she placed her suit on her body. The whirring of the suit attachments coming together filled the room. "This is so cool!"
"I know." Robin smiled.
"We're taking the batwing," Batman informed. "Helena, you should give Lucius a call and tell him how much you like the suit."
"Okay!" She nodded as they boarded the aircraft. "I'm guessing the suit has a direct line to him."
"It does." He replied. "Need help figuring it out?"
"I got it." She answered.
The HUD in her mask lit up and many options appeared before the view switched to showcase a picture of Lucius Fox.
"Good night, Miss Helena. I take it the suit is to your liking."
"That it is, very comfortable and allows me to move freely."
"That was the intention, my dear." He said proudly. "And the mask fits well?"
"It does! So is the suit made of Kevlar?"
"That and much more." He replied. "Your suit is made of flexible plates over an MR fluid armor layer. The outer and inner layers of the bodysuit are made of a titanium tri-weave. The layers can move to compress a wound and many other things. The MR fluid hardens in response to impact and that shock absorption also allows you to put a lot of force into your counterattacks without injuring yourself. The liquid armors are very flexible which capitalizes on your fast pace fighting style. It will also allow you to take out multiple foes in quick succession. It also has a built-in grapnel launcher in the right gauntlet that will pull you sky-high at quick speeds. The suit is made to withstand the G's so just have fun out there."
"That's Amazing!" Her eyes widened in awe. "Anything else I should know?"
"The suit is a prototype and it will record data based on any new fighting preferences you may prefer." He beamed. "I hope the Bat Insignia in the centerpiece of the suit isn't against your imagination. Do you have a code name as yet?"
