No matter the time, no matter the day
I always think of you and the things you would say
Your laugh, your smile
Recovery from that takes a while
Your eyes that sparkle and shine
Looking in them knowing you were mine
Were being the key word here
The bonds between us you sheared
On that weary, gloomy night
I gathered my hearts pieces and with all my might
Pushed, glued, and taped as I tried
I couldn't forget all the times that I cried
Cried over what we had found and lost
Into the fiery river you tossed
All of my wishes all of my dreams
Ripped them away to go with your schemes
But I can't forget the good times too
All of the minutes and seconds I spent with you
All of the good times and all of the bad
I never want to forget what we had
Not even the way you said goodbye
The way you looked at me coldly as I cried
I want to remember you every day
Even if I think of all I could say
To make you stop, and think, and stay
With me every, every day
