"cher can i talk to you?" veronica asks me. "yea sure." i say and we go upstairs and sit on my bed.
"just like old times." v says. "yea i guess your right. so what did you want to talk about?" i ask.
"the outburst that happened a couple hours ago." she says. "ok what about it?" i ask her. "i just need some advice. or help. definitely help." she admits.
"i mean i can try. toni is usually the better mom when it comes to discipline. i just chicken out." i laugh. "same! except neither me or archie are good at it. which is probably why viv gets away with murder." she exaggerates and i laugh.
"well evi used to throw really bad tantrums right? how did you stop them?" she asks.
"ev was 2 when that stuff happened so it was easier to find out why she was screaming. vivian is 5 though and i think her behavior is coming from a deeper problem." i tell her.
"i'm just so frustrated. and i know i said it wasn't earlier but it's embarrassing. i feel bad that you all had to watch that." she says and runs her hand through her hair.
"don't feel embarrassed. it's not your fault and to be honest i don't think it's vivi's fault either. do you think she might have adhd?" i ask. "she already got tested for that and it came back negative." she says.
"well whatever problem she has i think it has to do with the fact that she wants attention." i say. "your right on that one. i think that my be the stem of the problem." ronnie says. "yea it probably is." i say.
"poor fred and lea have to live with this." she says. "do you think she'll have another outburst today?" i ask. "possibly. i'll just have to keep an eye on her." she says.
"how about we surprise the kids with going to pops for dinner?" i suggest. "ok i'm good with that." i say and we go downstairs to tell all the kids.
at pops
the kids have 3 of there own booths and all the adults decided to squeeze into one big booth.
"this is great." kevin says out of no where. "i know right. this burger is amazing." jughead says with a mouth full of food. "not the burger you idiot. the fact that we're all together again." kevin says and rolls his eyes.
"mama v is tired." veronica says. "so is mama b. but probably not for the same reasons." betty says.
"what do you mean?" tones asks. "nothing. never mind." she quickly says and sips her milkshake.
"no tell us." sweet pea says.
"is there something your hiding?" fangs asks.
"maybe we should just tell them." jug whispers to betty.
"tell us what?" archie asks. "ok fine we'll tell you guys." betty laughs.
"i'm pregnant!" betty says and i gasp.
"what?! cousin that's great news!" i say. "no way! another baby bughead!" kevin says. "that's amazing! do the kids know?" ronnie asks. "yes our kids do." jug says.
"kids come over here." betty says. they all come up to our booth and huddle around. "what is it?" layla asks. "betty's pregnant!" archie says.
"i knew that already. i'm going to be the best big sister. i'm so excited." jules says.
"awww sebi is going to be a big brother." fred says. "yea i am. i cant wait." he says excitedly.
"is it a boy or a girl?" evi asks betty and touches her stomach. "we don't know yet. we found out a week ago." betty tells her. "when is it coming out?" vivi asks. "9 months." ronnie says.
"that's so great!" angelica says and hugs betty.
"please god let it be a boy." brandon says dramatically. "what do you not like girls?" gia teases him. "there's just so many girls already." liam says. "yea we need more boys." luke agrees.
"no. this baby is going to be a girl. i can tell." lizzie says. "how?" tayleigh asks. "i just can. you know i guessed sebi was going to be a boy." lizzie says. "so what? you had a 50 50 shot." lea says.
"we need more boys. but i like having sisters." aiden says sweetly. "girls are just better." grace says. "that's so true." kayla says. "we need a little mini betty. that's so cute." ella says.
"ok enough talk about which gender is better. i'm taking these two to the bathroom." emily says and takes evi and vivi's hands. "i can take them." toni offers. "no mama we want emi to take us." ev says. "ok thanks em." ronnie says. "no problem." she says and walks away.
the rest of the kids go back to there booths and continue eating. "i know it's early but do you guys have any names in mind?" katie asks. "we have a few but we want to keep looking." betts says. "take your time. and don't let jug name it. he'll probably name it after food." i say and everyone laughs. jughead just looks at me and sticks his tongue out.
all of a sudden i see emily running up to us crying.
"EVIANNA AND VIVIAN ARE GONE!"
