Another Dog Person- Shigure Sohma x reader

"Shigure!"

The male had transformed into a black dog who was currently wagging his tail and jumping around the house.

"This calls for payback. What if I destroyed your new draft of that book your working on?"

"No! No! Anything but that!"

"Then tell me where my shoes are!"

"Which ones?"

"The white sandals with the blue flowers!"

"I have no idea...."

In a few seconds a pink cloud of smoke appeared and you turned your back, knowing what was happening.

"You clothed yet?"

"Yep!"

You turned to see him grinning like an idiot, holding the shoes you'd been looking for.

"I knew you had them, dirty dog!"

"Aww (Y/N) that's not nice."

"Well don't steal my stuff!"

"Ok ok. Can I at least get a hug?"

"And turn into a dog again?"

He shrugged his shoulders and cocked his head.

"Fine, I guess."

He brushed a strand of hair out of your face and tucked it behind your ear.

Before you knew it, the two of you were kissing.

A pair of arms wrapped around you and that same cloud of pink appeared once again.

The dog was barking and yipping in excitement.

"You're still a dirty dog, Shigure."

"And you're another dog person which is why you're perfect."

"Shouldn't you get to work on that novel?"

"I've already finished the chapter for this week."

"Does your editor know?"

"No! Please don't tell her!!"

"I wasn't going to. Hey, do you know where Tohru is?"

"Yeah, Yuki, Kyo and Tohru are on a field trip for school. Why?"

He turned back to normal thankfully.

"So I can do this."

You lightly kissed him and turned around.

"Oh,(Y/N) before you head out I got you something."

"What?"

In his arms was a short, white silk dress with a light blue ribbon tied around the waist.

"I took your sandals to see how well they matched the dress. Sorry about the trouble."

"You didn't have to do that. Really, it's gorgeous."

"It's nothing, I just thought you might like it. Glad to see I'm right."

"For once. This must have cost a fortune."

"You should try it on, to see how it fits."

So you went happily up the stairs to change. Then a thought crossed your mind.

If he's just being a perv again I'll kick his ass!

You looked in the mirror and was shocked, it fit beautifully.

You ran down the stairs and before he could get a clear look at you, you hugged him and he spun you around.

Then poof. For hopefully the last time that day.

"Shigure,thank you so much! I love it!"

"Me too! It looks so good on you."

You scratched under his chin and behind his ears.

"Good doggy."

He jumped in your arms and looked up at your face with his cold nose pressed to your own.

He stuck his tongue out at you. You couldn't help but smile.

You wrapped around the canine and smiled as you picked him up. Hoping he wouldn't change back while you did so.

You set him down in his room along with his clothes.

A couple hours later you peeked in his room to see him hard at work writing. He was sitting at his table with a laptop, paper and pencil.

Tohru had told you that she was spending the night at Hanajima's so she couldn't cook that night.

Which left you to cook. So you made pork buns and rice.

You opened his door and tapped him on the shoulder.

He turned around and his eyes widened as he saw the plate in your hand.

"(Y/N), thank you."

"No problem Shigure, it's a thank you for the dress although I know this isn't nearly enough."

As you went to turn away he grabbed your wrist.

"(Y/N), you just being here is enough for me. You don't have to do anything for me."

"You are a character, Shigure Sohma. An absolute charmer too."

"And you're a sweetheart, (Y/N) (L/N)."

Finally you stood up and went to bed after saying your goodnights to the male.
